Q:2 Describe CPR?
It is an emergency process which associated chest compression with artificial ventilation to
preserve brain functioning till then another measures or subsidiary are not taken to restore natural
blood circulation and breathing in individuals or a person who is in cardiac arrest. There are
three type of CPR techniques i.e. high-frequency chest compression, open-chest CPR and
interposed abdominal compression which are used as per patient cardiac condition.

Face shield is the best option to keep protect against contact of splash because it develops
protectives barriers over the entire face and eye as well. Face shield keep protect nose and mouth
which can be transmitted from blood borne pathogens.

If the patient is chocking then I will influence him/her to cough and remove any type of
obstruction from their mouth.
When patient unable to cough itself then I will give five sharp back blows then I will help
him to lean forward slightly and supports his/her body with one hand then I will stand
behind him or her.
With the heel of my other hand gives them five sharp back blows among their shoulder
blades. In each back blow I will seel if there is anything obstruct in their mouth.
In fourth step when back blow is failed to clear abstraction from mouth then I will give
five abdominal thrusts such as I will stand behind him/her and put my hands around
his/her waisted. Then the I will make a fist between his/her belly button and below their
chest. Then With other hand I will grasp my fist and pull quickly inwards and upwards up
by five times and I will check his/her mouth in each time.
When blockage is not cleared after applying all first aid protocols then I will call on
999/112 for emergency support directly. Then again, I will repeat constantly five back
