INTRODUCTION
Staff engagement is basically an emotional commitment that a worker has to the organization
and its goal. This emotional commitment encourage employees to actually care about their
responsibilities work and company (Borgstrom and Barclay, 2019). It is important for
organisations to understand the concept of staff engagement as it not only provide organization
to assure overall growth and success but also plays important role in terms of staff satisfaction.
Staff engagement strategies are mainly associated to create an environment in which engagement
is more likely to flourish. Staff engagement strategies plays important role for organization and
is a crucial component for organization success. Employees those who are not engaged are more
likely to look somewhere else for work and feel dissatisfied in their job which decreases
organization productivity and performance and affect them in various ways.
Present research proposal is conducted on Sainsbury which is operating as leading
organization in retail industrial sector in the provinces of United Kingdom. This organization is
having a large base of employees those who are performing the roles and responsibilities to
accomplish overall goals and objectives of company and providing services to customers.
Present research proposal include discussion on the aim of the impact of staff motivation strategy
on the overall productivity and performance of organization. For the literature review and
appropriate methodologies is being considered to assure successful outcome.
Background of research
Staff engagement strategies are associated to create an environment in which employees are
engaged in organizational decision making practices and other important aspects, as it helps in
developing positive emotional connection among company and workers. In order to assure
growth and competitiveness in any industry staff engagement strategies are playing important
role as it helps in generating trust and loyalty among workers. Sainsbury is facing the challenge
