LITERATURE REVIEW
Explain the need for talent motivation in an organization?
The need for employee motivation programs is high for the company, as this would
lead employees to greater efficiency. In this way it can be said that with the help of such
employee motivation, an appropriate focus on the achievement of corporate goals can be
achieved. Employee motivation programs can improve employee loyalty, as employee morale
can be improved if motivational programs are added in the company that lead to employee
management. On the other hand, it is investigated that when employees are motivated within
an organization, the will tries hard to achieve the company's goals. In order to improve the
company's chances of succession, employee motivation programs must also be introduced by
the company so that the company's functionality can be maintained (Bradler and et. al.,
2016). Similarly, employee motivation programs can be used for business skills development
as they are useful for the success of the company and also measure different dimensions.
Finally, the main need in employing staff motivation programs is to improve employee
engagement because when employees are motivated, they can work with broader skills and
commitment to achieve the goals.
What types of motivational schemes does Marks & Spencer use to retain and motivate
talent?
There are several types of employee motivation programs that can be used by the
organization to motivate its employees and also to retain top talent. In this way, these are the
practices that are heavily used in the company to align employee efforts with company goals.
By providing rewards and benefits, employees can be motivated and give their full attention
to company goals. On the other hand, by cultivating enthusiasm, motivational practices can
be exercised in the company and this will have a positive effect on organizational activities.

can be adopted by the organization (Guest, D.E., 2017). These are the aspects on which the
company's goals can be aligned and at the same time the performance of the employees can
be used. In addition, by promoting workplace transparency, the practice of developing
employee motivation can be built up. Employees can be motivated in different ways by
recognizing and celebrating achievements and at the same time contribute their outstanding
commitment to the organization. Finally, the compatibility of work and family can motivate
employees to feel happy by managing their personal and professional life together.
What challenges does Marks & Spencer face as it does not focus on employee
motivation programs?
There are several challenges organizations would face if they did not focus on using
employee engagement programs. Employee motivation programs in the current scenario are
considered to be one of the most important methods that can be used by companies to
develop their business and also achieve greater success. In relation to a retail business, its
people are considered to be one of the most important assets as all business processes are
carried out by them and can be helpful in achieving organizational goals. Due to a lack of
employee motivation, employee morale can drop and as a result the goals of the organization
can be delayed. On the other hand, due to a lack of motivation, employee engagement can be
minimized and this is one of the main problems companies face. Aside from that, poor
organizational communication is the other downside seen due to a lack of motivation, which
can lead to the organization becoming confused in the performance of its roles and
responsibilities.
Methodology and Methods
Research methodology- The research methodology defines the way in which the
research is carried out and defines the problems and goals of the research through the
presentation of the data collected. It defines the process of what data should be
collected and the methods of data collection to ultimately analyse that data to get the
effective results. Different types of methodology include qualitative and quantitative
methods. For the research quantitative methodology is used.
Research approach- The research approach defines the plans and procedures that
include the step of data collection, analysis and interpretation, taking into account the
assumptions. It includes different research approaches of descriptive and exploratory
approach. The descriptive approach is used (Kovačević, M., Blagojević, S. and
Kuzmanović, B., 2020).

Kuzmanović, B., 2020).

Research strategy- The research strategy defines the overall plan for conducting
research that will help plan, organize, and monitor the research methods and strategies
that will be used in the organization. It defines step by step the action plan, which
gives the direction of the research process through systematic research. This involves
qualitative and quantitative strategy where qualitative strategy can be used for
knowing people opinions.
Research sampling- The term sample refers to a collection of people, objects from
the large population that are taken for measurement. The sample represents the
population that generated the results of the research. It contains the essentials of
sample units, points and observations. Sampling is also a part of the research design,
it is divided into two parts, the probability and non-probability sample.
The present report is being prepared through the primary as well as secondary research
and on the basis of probability as well as non-probability technique because this way of
analysing the result is the most prominent and feasible aspect for the data. On the other hand
the present report involves a sample collection of 30 respondents.
ACTIVITIES AND TIMESCALE
Time scale- The timescale is important to any project or task as it indicates the
chronological order of the events scheduled for a particular task. For every person it is
necessary to have an understanding of time & project that shows a fixed amount of time in
the required task to get done. In relation to current research, researchers need an
understanding of the goals and the division between participants, which helps to achieve
positive results by effectively managing roles and tasks.

Conclusion
From the above proposal it is being concluded that, the importance of talent management
is the important part of human resource management, which includes employee development
and retention. The rationale for investing in talent management is an opportunity to attract the
most talented and skilled employees, which will develop the brand and improve performance.
Human resources are an important resource for corporate success Globalization has created a
new resource, so-called talent management, which binds employees to the market through
recruitment and thus ensures long-term success.
