Project Objectives  To deliver a highly efficient website that would suit the
educational needs of students
 To implement the new and advanced technologies during
the designing of the website
 To ensure a high level of security within the website so as to
secure the payments that would be made within the
website.
 To manage the educational course contents and align them
with the business processes.
Project Scope
Description
 The project is based on designing and delivering an
enhanced educational website that would help the students
in gaining an exclusive knowledge of the course content. The
project would embed the similar architecture that is
followed by Netflix and similar other online video streaming
websites. The project would gather feedback from students
in order to understand about the technical qualities, which
would be helpful for future outcomes from the website.

outline them here.
Note 2: Be careful that you don’t include steady state services/deliverables etc. into the
project deliverables, unless the ongoing services are a mandated part of the project.
Technical Deliverables (List key deliverables at a node/module/medium level of detail)
Hardware  The hardware elements that would be required are: Servers,
Desktop Computers, laptops, network elements such as LAN
cables, Wi-Fi routers, Phones and Tablets.
Software/Application
(Application, Interfaces &
Presentation)
 The software elements include: Firewall management
software, antivirus management software, RTSP control
interfaces and CODEC applications. The Open Connect
Appliance (OCA), which is a video streaming server could
also be used within the website.
Data Storage,
Replication & Access
 The Client DB would store the valuable information of the
users who have created their account. The database would
store information that includes names, billing information,
addresses, and information about client environment,
license types and many others. In this system, Oracle
database would be used for storing the data of clients.
Networking  High volume of network connections could be established
with the influence of the website usage. The connections
would need support from TCP-IP and they would be used for
ensuring support based on interconnectivity between nodes
and client.
Security  In order to ensure security within the website, a Defence-in-

Note 2: Be careful that you don’t include steady state services/deliverables etc. into the
project deliverables, unless the ongoing services are a mandated part of the project.
Depth approach would need to be implemented in order to
ensure physical security.
 It would also include wide area network security,
application, Client DB, OCA, Games Server, local area
network, databases and many others.
Infrastructure  Other infrastructure that would be required are data
centers, network rooms and a customer service in-house
section
Other  The other requirements that could be included are the
inclusion of a technical room that would be able to include
all these requirements and thus ensure that the
development works would progress successfully/
Other Deliverables (List key deliverables medium level of detail)
Services  Internal services that should be included are: training for the
use of the systems, documentation of the project processes
and continuous maintenance of the website after the launch
 External services include advertising of the website to the
various schools, consulting with other experienced people
about product advertisement.
Documentation  The project plan should be designed firstly
 Use case diagrams and mock-up diagrams should be
prepared.
 Financial budget should be prepared during the designing of
project plan.
Reporting  The meeting should be conducted for discussing plans about
the website designing, planning of financial budget and also
designing a technical plan for the project.
Testing  System tests and UAT
 Multi-site testing and UAT
 Full system pilot testing
Other Deliverables  Ensuring high level encryption systems that should be firstly
implemented in order to secure transactions that are made
within the website.

Acceptance Criteria (List any project acceptance criteria by linking to the following sub-

reference them here)
Business Acceptance Criteria (Explicit (in blue)/Non-explicit (in black))
 The project would be able to meet with the expected success criteria for the business.
With the high number of users, the business of EdMedia would incur high amount of
business revenue.
Technical Acceptance (List key information related to the acceptance of deliverables at a
node/module/medium level of detail)
Hardware  The hardware elements would be able to provide the support
for development of website.
 The servers and computer desktops would help in ensuring
internet connectivity and website development.
Software/Application
(Application, Interfaces &
Presentation)
 The identified software systems should be helpful for
performing as per the business requirements.
 The software systems should ensure security of the website.
Data Storage,
Replication & Access
 The data storage facilities should be efficient for storing the
entire data of clients and other business processes.
Networking  The defined networking standards should provide the best
for of network stability during the website designing process.
Security  The key security aspects should be strictly followed. Different
encryption standards should be adhered in order to ensure
that the website does not face any problem.
Infrastructure  With the inclusion of the needed requirements that have
been properly met, the project could be deemed as to be
successful.
Other  Following with each of the necessary requirements, there
would not be any other need of inclusion of other
requirements for the project.
Acceptance Criteria for Other Deliverables (List key deliverables medium level of detail)
Services  The design of the website should be initiated by 2nd
September 2019 and would end on 8th September 2019.
Documentation  The documentation of the project plan and other
requirements should be made ready within 30th August 2019.
