Dear sir,
This letter is to inform you that I, Alyssa Miranda, is highly interested to participate the
Sacramento Ultrasound Institute (SUI) program. I wants to become a full time MRI Technologist
in near future and I believe that my profession will not only allows me to utilize my consumer
service experience but will also allow me to continue with my passion for learning. I am aware
of the fact that the program allow students to receive 880 hours of didactic as well as laboratory
instruction along with 800 hours of clinical education. Not only this the program allows the
students to develop technical, interpersonal well as clinical skills that is highly beneficial for
them in future. My urge to enhance my knowledge about diagnostic medical solography, have
enhanced my desire to join the program. Since my childhood I possess immense interest for bio
physics. I was in a R.O.P program 3 years in high school that helped me get my Medical
Assisting certificate. Not only this, I also worked for the Veterans affair hospital in order to gain
experience. Considering the fact that I am planning to take the ARDMS examination, It will be
highly beneficial for me to join the program since, this program prepares the students to take
their ARDMS examination.
I have completed my schooling from CASA Roble High School with Grade point average of 3.5.
I graduated from the Sierra Collage with the Grade Point Average of 3.0. After completing my
graduation, I have worked in 4 organizations. The experience obtained from my professional like
have not only enhanced my skills but have also imposed a positive impact on my knowledge. I
started my professional carrier as a Shift manager. In 2017 in a organization named Boston
Market. I worked in the mentioned organization for 6 months. My job role was to run to shift,
counting inventory, and cash drawer and help the consumers whenever needed. During working
in the organization, I understood the responsibility of a manager. I developed communication

skills that are needed to deal with the clients along with managing staffs. I joined my second Job
in the year 2018. My second job role was of a server and the organization I worked in is named
Olive garden. My chief responsibilities as a server was to take the food and drink orders of the
guests, deliver their orders, handle cash and conduct size works like restocking, cleaning and
checkout. Considering the fact that my second job role possess immense difference from the first
one, it helped me to develop new professional skills like dealing with consumers at adverse
situation. Not only this, I also develop the skill of paying attention to detail, ability to multitask
and conflict resolution skills. For instance, several times, angry consumers used to demonstrate
highly abusive and aggressive nature. As a host, I used to politely communicate with the same
keeping a positive attitude so that the conflict can be tamed down at that specific point of time.
After working at Olive Garden for 4 months, I joined PF Changes and Jame’s Café as a server.
The chief reason behind working as a server was to accumulate money that helped to pursue my
education. However, working in several organization helped me to gather knowledge and
experience which is highly beneficial for my future. Having a fixed job helped me to develop a
disciplined lifestyle. Not only this, working with consumers from different cultural backgrounds
helped to understand their perspective and develop capabilities to meet their requirement and
ensuring consumer satisfaction.
I started working as a Patient Service Specialist at Concentra in the year 2019. Joining this job
enhances my urge to gather more knowledge about Diagnostic Medical Sonography. As a
patient service specialist, my chief role is to check the healthcare service users, answer their calls
and rescheduling appointment, rescheduling their appointments, handing the insurance as well as
the files. While working as a patient service specialist I developed the knowledge of facility

procedures, patience, effective communication and personable demeanor. Along with this, I also
developed effective medical coding knowledge, computer literacy and attention to details.
Considering the fact that that along with the urge to gain professional knowledge, my aim of
working at different organizations was to accumulate the fund to join SUI, I have gained success
in the process. As a student, I aspire to become an efficient MRI specialist in near future. I will
be highly obliged if I am provided with the chance to join the Diagonastic Medical Sonography
program and will be looking forward for your reply.
