STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
"Talent is not outstanding. Typically, it's the first thing that everyone compliments. What they believe it does
doesn't mean. It's not because I've been working hard. This means I've been happy, or grateful, or whatever you
call it. Initially, over ten years ago at St. Gallen University in Switzerland, I finished my master's degree in
banking and finance. Since then I've been working for different banks and other financial institutions, following
my career aspirations, but I didn't feel like my life had been completed for any reason. I thought like in my life I
totally lacked those social facets and readiness to do good for people and society. Following several reflections,
I wanted to move on to a more socially responsible public sector from financially enticing banks and the private
sector in the economy. I'm referring to the fact that I started my first job in the government sector in the Russian
Ministry of Finance, which enabled me to make such a drastic shift on the one hand because my previous work
and skills were closely associated, among others, in this part of the government system, and on the other hand,
because it allowed me to start working socially, as I desired.
For a while, I didn't feel like I was contributing much to society. I prayed to God at the time, pleading for his
guidance and for him to show me the right way to live. It took some time and active involvement in God's
interaction for me to realize that my duty and fulfillment of my wishes is to serve others on a daily basis,
according to their needs and demands. I discovered that counseling is the only way to do it correctly, and that
every day I spend consulting and helping people is the right path of life for me. I went to the Milton Erickson
Moscow Institute of Psychology and Psychotherapy, which had been granted permission to represent the Milton
H. Erickson Foundation in Russia and had fulfilled the required qualifications.
I selected the following curriculum at the aforementioned institution: "complete clinical retraining" in
Psychology with a specialty in Ericksonian hypnosis and Ericksonian hypnotherapy. According to Russian law,
people with a graduate degree will complete a "full professional retraining" at an institution accredited by the
Russian Ministry of Education, and by receiving the appropriate diploma can automatically receive a licence to
carry out practical activities in the field of psychological counselling.
I have already completed a range of classes in psychology and hypnotherapy, and after learning any bit of new
insight I am increasingly conscious that my potential job will bring a lot of positive stuff into this world and am
increasingly sure that my career change is right. I am now at the last term of my "absolute technical retraining."
I'm an analytical thinker, which leads to a career in psychological studies, along with my human mind interest.
My passions mixed in terms of scientific approach to proposing a discipline such as ergonomics were inspired
by my latest consultation with a team of psychologists for health and safety.
It also encouraged me to understand better how their way of thinking and learning impacts their daily lives.
These two things have made me curious to understand how the mind works at a young age. I study sociology
