Introduction
The given report deals with the interpretation of the data given in the assignments. For the
purpose of analysis and interpretation of the given data, some statistical tools and techniques
inherent in MS Excel have been used. This is because the data is of quantitative nature. As such,
it is desirable to properly apply these tools to obtain and derive the meaningful and desired
information. This will help to formulate business strategies correctly and appropriately which
indirectly leads to earning of a good amount of profits and at the same time ensuring that the
concerned business enterprise does not lose its market share by satisfying customers desires and
needs.

Task 2
For the understanding of both the data, bar charts have been used. This is because pictorial
presentation helps to understand the data in an impressive as well as understandable manner. as
such, a person having no knowledge of data analytics can also understand if correct and
appropriate tools have been applied and used during the summarization and interpretation of the
data.
Thus, it is impulsive to wisely choose the suitable and most appropriate methods of
communication out of the available various types of charts and tables intended for
communication purpose depending on the nature and type of data.
It can be observed that the data relating to both clubs and premier league is large. In other words,
the time period covered in the analysis of premier league is too wide. In the same manner, no. of
clubs covered is too large. Thus, in such situations, pictorial representation in the form of charts,
bar graph etc. is preferred.

Task 3
It can be concluded that two clubs namely QPR and West Ham Limited have secured the same
position in terms of overall performance. Accordingly, it can be said that two clubs are
performing well and are giving cut throat competition to each other. Likewise, Burnley has the
lowest club wages due to which it has secured 20th i.e., the last position. This can be clearly
depicted from the bar graph and tabular form as well. The range of club wages lies between 29 to
217 being 29 the lowest wages. Thus, the range of club wages is 188.
CHELSEA club has the highest club wages and this is the reason that it has been able to secure
the first position.
Likewise, the value of premier league is between £24,934 and £1,162,350 covering the period
1984 to 2010 indicating a range of 1137416.
There is no doubt in the fact that these pictorial excel has helped a lot in understanding and
interpretation of the data as it helps to explain the complex data in an impressive and hassle-free
manner.
