The first graph clearly shows that the Australian exports were higher in 2014-15 as
compared to 2004-05 with china taking the lead destination country in 2014-15 while
Japan being the lead export destination country in 2004-05 followed by China.
The second graph shows that in 2014-15, China and Japan accounted for more than 60%
of Australian’s total export destination countries while in 2004-05, it four countries
(Japan, China, USA and Republic of Korea) accounted for more than 60% of the
Australian’s export destination countries. The two graphs combined shows that China has
of late been a key player in Australian’s exports.
