1. Described the benefit plan
There are diverse categories of benefit plans which exists for the each and every
stakeholder working in Dell (Dell USA, 2020). The benefit plan of this organization includes
paid holiday trips, paid sick leaves, casual dress for the employees, diverse categories of life and
medical insurance policies, technological training sessions to improve the skills, certification
reimbursement, and stock exchange plans. These offerings are very much impactful for the
employees working in this commercial establishment. These helps the employees to improve their
quality of life and improve the morale. Motivation of the employees are also boosted by these
offerings.
Decisions made to arrive at the plan.
Uncertainties of all technological companies and the business risks of the technological
industries are the two most significant factors affecting the managerial decision making in this
organization.
2. Important to employees in their benefit plan at the subject organization.
The preferences and the personal factors of the employees of an organization includes the
larger pay increase, generous retirement plans, bonus opportunities, generous health benefits.
Each of these factors can play a huge role to improve the productivity of the resources. These
factors are very much significant for the employees as well as it would help them to improve their
personal and professional growth.
Hypothesis statement: Optimization of the knowledge base of the employees is one of
the prime intention of Dell Inc. from their existing benefit plan.
3. Conducted research to address the hypothesis.
According to Garabato, Gardner & Nyce (2018), accuracy of the employees of an
organization can be improved if the knowledge of an organization is improved with the help of an

effective business plan. The researcher added that productivity of the organization can also be
enhanced with the help of an effective business plan. Compensation plans and retirement plans
are usually a part of the benefit plans which helps the resources of business organizations to deal
with any sort of business challenges.
On the other hand, as described by Garabato, Gardner & Nyce (2018), adaptability of
the employees of an organization can be improved using a reliable benefit plan. The researcher
added that an effective benefit plan is also very much significant for the employer of a business as
it helps to improve the functional skills of the employees.
4. Presented the results of the research.
Thus, based on the above research it can be said that features like defined
contribution must be a part of an effective benefit plan as it can help employees deal the
challenges of taxation of the retire schemes. Based on the discussions of Budd (2017), defined
contribution (DC) arrangements in a benefit plan is very much useful to deal with the
expectations of both employers and employees. The below pictorial representation shall
highlight the percentage of the organizations having DC plans.
