This study evaluates the efficacy of Stoptober campaign in promoting smoking cessation and its potential to effect change on an individual's behaviour. The Stoptober campaign was launched in 2012 and has been running successfully for the past eight years. According to independent evaluation techniques, the campaign has resulted in 30,000 quit attempts by past year smokers. The study also discusses the impact of health campaigns on people's awareness related to health.
