INTRODUCTION
For the business it is very essential that they manage to a strategic agility of the company
in proper and effective manner. The reason underlying these factors that there are many changes
taking place within the external environment and if these changes will not to the told then this
will affect the working and operations of business. The present study is based on oak tree inn
which is a tourism business owned by family in Balmaha in Scotland. The present study will
outline the use of PESTLE analysis along with the five force analysis. Further with help of both
these model SWOT of the company will be analysed. Furthermore strategic options for the
company's growth and development will be identified with the critical evaluation of those
strategic choices along with SAF analysis.
MAIN BODY
Overview of firm and its activities
Oak tree is family run tourism business in Balmaha, Loch Lomond, Scotland that
emphasis on providing better services to customers so that it can enjoy high profit margin. It is
successful bar, restaurant and holiday accommodation that is having annual turnover of 3m in
2018 and the owner of company is will to grow it by 10m by 2025. The company is planning to
expand its business operation as a floating restaurant and water boats for better customer’s
experience. People can easily have options to online trade by selling artefacts from Loch
Lomond to other associated brand. In addition to this, company have highly qualified, trained
and skilled employees that are ready to deliver their best services to customers for benefits of
organisation (Perera, 2017). Oak inn makes use of both digital and offline marketing strategies in
order to attract maximum number of customers within organisation. Online presence has given
opportunity to company to easily generate awareness among people so that they are motivated to
be part of organisation. Furthermore the company have good local sourcing that contribute in
supporting local enterprise and delivering qualitative services to travel for satisfaction of their
requirement in best possible manner. Oak has followed all legal law and regulation while
operating its different functions for smooth operation of enterprise in tourism industry for longer
time frame. Therefore, the restaurant is central of business as it is present in eastside of Loach
Lomond, Scotland first national park thereby providing opportunities to people to wider view
