INTRODUCTION
Strategic airport planning and development can be explained as the systematic process that
is used for establishing the airports according to the guidelines and efficient development plans.
It is very important that airport planning is done strategically for achieving the desired level of
traffic, environment and surface area coverage (Brown, 2022). The following report will describe
the various challenges in relation to the strategic planning of the airport and its establishment.
Construction of the airport is a multi-disciplinary project and involves various requirements such
as engineering, contractors, executives, agencies, experts, legal advisors, etc. This report will

that is among the fastest means of transport invented by humans. The airport can be described as
the place which consists of air space, landing area, runways, Taxies, waiting area, boarding area
etc. The airport planning must reflect the complete understanding about the interrelated factors
that helps to facilitate better experience at the airport (Wang, Gong and Yang, 2018). It consists
of the aircraft performance, environment management, air traffic management etc. activities at
the Brisbane Airport, Australia.
