We will discuss Alzheimer's disease which is one of the most common irreversible causes of dementia.

INTRODUCTIONStrategic commissioning can be broadly defined as entire set of activities which are involvedin determining and forecasting the needs and requirements such as investment needs and planningthe nature and range of quality of services that is needed to meet those requirements (Drummondand et.al, 2015). Strategic commissioning is applied in those organisation were there are two ormore than two healthcare organisation involved to deliver various services to all the patients.Strategic commissioning can be a complex process when outcomes are concerned (Redwood andet.al, 2016). It requires wide range of skills and activities to meet the goals and objectives ofstrategic commissioning.The assignment will mainly focus on healthcare initiatives which are very necessary to beimplemented in Care UK so that health outcomes of dementia patients in Wembley, London areimproved (Abdelhak, Grostick and Hanken, 2014). It will include the description of the proposal,impact of the key priorities, financial, workforce and space implications related to strategiccommissioning.Description For implementing better care services to all the dementia patients it is very necessary to takeproper initiative regarding and health and social care so that proper care is given to patients ofdementia in Wembley, London (Snooks and et.al, 2015). Though Care UK works efficientlytowards providing effective care services to all the patients but hospital acquired conditions andharmful complications in the hospital are always a subject of matter in Care UK (Goodwin and et.al,2012). According to a survey report in London it has been reported that seven in fifty patients inhealthcare organisations acquires different types of diseases during their stay in the healthcaresetting. This has lead to loss in economic output as this is one of the major cause of increase inmorbidity and mortality in UK (Nakanishi and Nakashima, 2014). It is very necessary to setpriorities so that a positive impact is reflected on health and social care services. Impact of keypriorities have been discussed below.One of the key priorities of Care UK is to minimize errors which are present in theorganisation. This can be done through bringing changes in organisational structure(Mayrhofer, Goodman Sharpe and Dye , 2014). Care UK should primarily focus on human resource management procedure so that they areable to appoint all the staff members who are capable of providing better care services to all
