INTRODUCTION
The present report is based on the topic is strategy hospitality management. In which the report
will discuss about the different types of principles and practice of the strategic management in
the hospitality industry along with this it will also evaluate process challenges and effectiveness
of implementing a corporate strategy. The report will also include different types of stories and
practices that are related to strategic management concepts in addition to this it will also include
the challenges and effectiveness in the global hospitality industry. With the evolution of the
above report it will also explore the application of the strategic management process in the
hospitality industry that is by analyzing different process and challenges of implementing a
corporate strategy and effectiveness data based on the literature which are relevant to hospitality
operations. The full report is based on the hospitality industry that is by explaining different
process which will also include aim and objective for the critical discussion of formulation of
corporative strategy and how it linked with the strategic management process that is with the
reference of global hospitality operations.

Corporative strategies are mainly used by the large corporation that has multi business as it tells
them to manage and allocate their resources among business. On the other hand it also helps the
management at the time of balancing resources that is by getting different types of market
opportunity in different business area. In the hospitality sector the top manager of the hotels are
responsible for formatting different types of corporate level strategy data made for long term.
Corporate strategies are made by the top level to take different types of decisions at the time of
formulating the strategy data related to developing master plan which are known as the grand
strategy which is related to direction of the organization and on the other hand portfolio strategy
that is related to what are the activities and allocation used for performing the activities in the
organization.
Grand strategy are known as the general strategy that is used by the organization for finding out
which is the best direction that will result in accomplishing organization long term goals
(Yacoub and ElHajjar, 2021). It also includes different types of strategies that are related to

retrenchment, growth and stability. in which stability strategy help in maintaining status quo of
the company data related to risk and on the other hand growth and retrenchment strategy are
related to finding number of different ways to achieve the results from the strategy is made by
the company.
Growth strategy is related to expansion of the operations that are used by the company at the
time of operating in new areas data related to more sales, employees, and revenue and market
share.
Corporate strategy are linked with the strategic management as both helps in knowing what are
the horoscope and direction that will result in achieving all the operations of the business to
achieve particular goal and How is it helping referring to all the strategies that are related to
diversified company.

Strategic management is termed as the process of ongoing planning, assessment, monitoring and
analyzing of all the necessities that are used by the organization which will result in fulfilling the
needs and objectives that are set by the industry. Mainly it is performed by the hospitality
industry that is to make the changes in the organization or the business environments which will
assess the strategies to be successful. By using the competition theory of Michael Porter the
principles of strategic management are explained data related to hospitality industry. The
principle of the strategic management are related to the test of fundamental rules and guidelines
that are related to foundation for decision and reasoning making data used by the company for
longer term direction. On the other hand it is also used by the companies. To achieve the
competitive advantage in the market place (Phillips and et.al., 2017). On the other hand the
practice of strategic management and hospitality industry I related to establishing, developing
and maintaining the organization position by using markets and activities. It requires lots of wide
knowledge and awareness regarding the gap is rooted that is related to analyzing assimilation and
