INTRODUCTIONHuman resource is the most important element for an organisation because with the helpof this, company can easily achieve its objective effectively and efficiently (Armstrong andTaylor, 2014). An enterprise should hire a person which has skills and knowledge related tospecific job so that he can perform his job according to the specified standards. In other terms, itcan be said that human resource are the people who are working for an organisation and drivecompany on the way of success. This report is based on TESCO Plc which is the largest retailerin United Kingdom. It provides grocery products to its target market. This project will explainabout the reasons of doing business at international level and about various strategic HRMapproaches which assist in operating business at global level.TASKReasons of doing business at global levelIn the present scenario, it is generally seen that mostly, companies are moving towardsforeign countries for doing their business because globalization provides various types ofbenefits to the firm. A company operates their activities at international level because of thefollowing reasons-Sales expansion- It is the first and foremost reason of expanding business to anothercountry as there is more availability of opportunities which may help in increasing sales.There are large number of consumers to whom company can serve their goods or servicesand can also earn more profit. In foreign nation, there are large number of factors whichmay influence the operations of firm. So, company should adopt an appropriate globalstrategy which will assist in increasing the sales.Cost saving-The second reason behind for doing business in foreign country, there aremore substantial cost saving. If any company is properly based on manufacturing, then itshould know about the cost saving potential available to business in countries. In somenations, raw material and labour can be find out at lower price such as China by whichproducts' cost can be minimized (Boxall and Purcell, 2011).Market diversity- For diversifying the market, organsiation turned to foreign marketwhere more chances of success are available.
