Strategic Information System 2IntroductionThe company need to make changes in the organisational structure and policies due to globalisation. In this practice, strategic management is an effective tool for the company to meet goals and objectives and to conduct business operations smoothly. It provides several benefits to company such as cost benefits. The strategic management system also helps in attaining objectives and long term goals. Other than the organisational structure, operation problem and system acquisition method have been discussed in this report. The ERP system and system flow chart of sale procedures have been explained in this task. Further the control problems and issues have been explained. Along with this, the paper explains the accounting software packages and leaders of the market. The more details are given below. Part 1The current organisational structure Ansarada is an Australian software company that manages the flow of information between buyers and sellers in the financial deals including IPO, fund raising, M & A and tenders. The company is specialised in providing virtual data rooms designed entirely for mergers and acquisitions. The company was found in 2005. The head office of company is in Sydney and has offices in America, APAC and EMEA. The company has a team of about 200 employees.The company has been ranked as the fifth best place to work. The members of the company worked together to maintain collaboration and cooperation. Ansarada is a privately held software company (Seilheimer 163-188). The company fosters a culture where feedback and development are daily activities which make professional goals a reality. Operational problem There are enormous problems faced by Ansarada including inefficiency and delay in work within the organization. Since the company is dealing with some other organisations, Ansarada is facing several operational issues. The operational issues faced by company whileoperating business globally are: Language issue:
Strategic Information System 3A major challenge faced by Ansarada is language. The text within the software need to be decoded properly and correctly pitched for the intended users. The incorrect software localization can create bugs and mishandle version control. It leads to various challenges and issues within the organisation (Ogiela 154-159). Pricing:Pricing is one of the significant challenges in the operation management. It can affect both success and growth of the firm. So, pricing a product for the other country can be major issue for the firm. As, an amount set in one country will not the same in another country. Costs issue:When the operations become global, some of the projects can be completed in the geographies where business is located. In some cases it can be favourable as it can lower cost for the advancement of software. On the other hand cases it can increase costs and cause delays in completion of projects. The budget of company should be effectively managed as the international exchanges are always fluctuating. The proper budgeting can control on currency exchange rates which can increase the price (Nilsson et al. 1-16) Inefficiency:There are several issues which can be faced by the firm due to lack of poor and inefficient workers. These issues can affect the productivity as well as the profitability of company. These issues can be overcome by dividing the work among the different employees appropriately. Culture:The culture changes as a person moves from one place to another. The values are vital for thesuccess of business. The software and the way software interacts with user represent company. The company should sustain a favourable working environment to conduct business activities effectively and successfully. System acquisition method There are various methods which can be applied by Ansarada to manage daily activities and operations of business.
