INTRODUCTIONStrategic Information System (SIS) are basically a software system that allows CorporateBusiness to deliver efficient goods and services into the market. This can be determined as oneof the important features that enables organization to enhance the operations and efficiency ofthe company. SIS develops a connection between the demands and supply of the organizationusing IT tools and Tactics. The study will be based on the education industry namely Universityof Melbourne. The report will be able to develop a better SIS network in order to improve thebusiness performance. It will also help in creating different strategies to implement newinformation technology that will access the critical success factors of the company. This study will also establish problems that are associated with the existing System andalso steps taken to improve the new improved system Within university. It will also help indescribing the significance of various advanced technologies such as MRP, MRPII and EDI.This research will provide Entity Diagram and Data flow Diagram for the current system. It willalso discuss the security risks and data beaches which supports the accounting feature of newsystem.1. Primary Objectives and critical success factors of companyInformation Literacy can be considered as a sustaining force of a knowledge society. Itmainly empowers the individuals in all the walks of life in order to seek, evaluate and createinformation effectively to achieve educational goals (Barton and et.al., 2016). So, there is a needto develop a strategic change in the education system by increasing the use of Information andcommunication technology (ICT). Recent analysis of the Management and Communicationtechnology within Melbourne University of Australia suggests that there is only limited strategicthinking. So, there is a need to promote a better communication technology that guides thelearners and suppliers of educational system. This success factor mainly sets out to address the issues associated withministries and their supporting donors who supports the inefficient applications withinMelbourne University.Development of the strategic framework for the development and Management of ICTarchitecture and service within university.Establishment of this principle of developing an iGov Plan includes various operations.These includes Partnership -based, Result Oriented Standard, efficiency, transparencyand integrated strategy approach. This success factor can be achieved by databaserequirement, drivers, preferred database environment, DBMS, Connectivity and reportingand analysis ToolsA large amount of useful information is collected in order to allocate the resources whichneed to be properly circulated to higher management authority (Nobl, 2017).
