3STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING 1.Introduction: This assessments deal with the Sydney light rail project and further expansion related to this project and in order to improve the communication and the transportation system of the city where key strategies are identified in details. 2.Discussion: 2.1 Sydney Light Rail (SLR) Strategic Policies Sydney light rail is a project which is really going to help the entire population of Sydney to cope up with the busy world. It is playing an important role in the transportation of the people of Sydney in the future (Sydney light rail 2014). It is the NSW Governments plan to transform the city into much developed economy and fast transportation system. Trams with help the people of Sydney to travel fast which will automatically reduce the carbon emission. This will connect the cities central business district (CBD) with the suburban districts of Randwick and Kingsford (Sydneylightrail.transport.nsw.gov.au. 2019). The CBD and South East Light Rail is a new light rail project which is under construction now. The strategy involves evolution of fast communication and detailed engagement process. The light rail project is a major transportation solution for Sydney, which will help people to connect with the jobs, daily services and many more activities from home. TheSydney City Centre Access Strategy (SCCAS) which will further help all the people around the Sydney to easily avail the various modes of transport.

It is also important to provide the stakeholders and the community to take major participation in the project. This will help the project to be successful in the future with the help of the stakeholders and the community associated with the project (Wheelenet al2017). A range of effective communications and the major engagement tools are needed for preparing the project and make it successful. This light rail project of Sydney will provide the better transportation of service to the entire community. This projects includes some of the major parameters which are nine new light rail stops, new light rail vehicles, installations of power generations, access of new routes and alternative routes and further expansion and improvisation of the existing light rail. 2.3 Value Chain Analysis of Sydney Airport Project Value chain analysis is a process where a particular firm analyses the elements or values which is needed to be added in the final product (Gereffi, and Fernandez-Stark 2016). This means that the acitivites, which is related to the internal factors, are worked out in order to transform the input to output. The approach of this analysis segment is based on the economic sector and type of occupation.
