Additional technological requirements may include keyboard, mouse, speakers, webcam etc., depending on the individual employee. Benefits and Downfalls of Providing Technology to Staff for Working at Home: The benefit of providing technology to staff relates to no wastage of time, as the staff is not required to procure the required technology themselves which might take time and influence the productivity of the organisation (Yekani, 2016). The drawback of providing them with technology relates to the fact that the employees may not care for the technology provided to them, which may get damaged with time. Who can Work at Home: All employees whose operations are more or less conducted using computers are allowed to work from home. Additionally, all employees who can carry their physical work to their homes are also allowed.
