“The strategic development tools used by the business”
Strategic development tools are considered as the analysis tools that are used by the companies
to have control over the operational activities. It is noticed that these tools affect the success ratio
of the company in the high competitive market. In this paper the selected tools are Swot analysis,
Pestle analysis, Porter five force models and Ansoff strategy. These tools guide the companies to
consider the right directions which will be beneficial for them in future.
The first tool is SWOT ANALYSIS, which is considered by large and small scale industries to
measure the strength, weakness, threats and opportunities. In relation to this tool, the two factors
which are strength and weakness relate with the internal factor and it maintains the overall
process of the operational activities. Opportunities and threats are known as the external factor
that assists in securing the threats that are faced by the companies. SWOT ANALYSIS is
considered as the basic tool that is considered to boost the overall productivity of the company in
relation to the competitors that exist in the market (Steffen, 2017).
This tool is taken into consideration by the marketers to analyze the different marketing aspects
that can affect the business. If the companies take into consideration SWOT ANALYSIS, then it
has been seen that it could be easy to examine the present scenario of the market. With the help
of this tool it could be easy for the company to determine the organizational structure and also it
helps to boost the motivation level of the employees. To become a leader in the market, this tool
should be considered by the companies (Desai, 2019).
