cheque details in the spreadsheet. This entire system of booking the horse manager for proper
breeding can be taken place during the season. After entering the details in the spreadsheet,
the person also had to call this platform for confirming the payment so that they can provide
the receipt against that. This entire system includes various manual interests and shows the
chances of getting the error also increases. To minimise the error, some automated system
which can help in accepting online bookings of the stud manager along with the period or
season, and accept the payment so that the automatic received can be generated immediately,
the software system which can integrate all these features was required to be developed. This
concept was brought by Globex Corporation. Since Virtucon and Globex Corporation is
having long-time Association with each other, the entire system of developing this
information technology software to avail all the facilities for easy booking of the stud farm
including the manager for the whole season was handed over to Virtucon.
Project Description and Objectives:
For developing this system so that the automatic booking can be done, Globex Corporation
has awarded Virtucon to manage the project. This system was having some functional and
non-functional requirements which were required to be covered by the consultant for the
update in proper fulfilment of expectation made by stakeholders.
The features of the system are mainly divided into three parts, 'the breeding', ‘the financial'
and the 'mobile features'. According to the breathing feature all the entry of horse breeding
procedure, the database regarding their ownership, even the DNA of the parents, along with
the obtaining of birth certificate and providing the insurance shall be supported using this
system. The financial features which shall also be supported why the system are the details
regarding the booking of contract, the service fees, the details regarding GST, even the BAS
details required to be provided by this automated system. According to the mobile features,
all the bookings should also be able to do by using mobile and the person does not to be set at
client in written below. The client is requested to paste these

I have previously worked did in a team, and had observed both the positive and the negative
side of working as a team.
The positive side of working as a team are:
The teamwork always maximizes the efficiency, utilizes team member's strength and
help in distributing the workload evenly (Goodman, 2018)
Teamwork help in providing a common goal to the members so that the all efforts can
be put to achieve that single gold and hence the entire process becomes much easier
than an individual person's capacity of working.
On the positive side of working as a team it also has few negative sides:
If the team members are not handled properly then some workers can struggle to get
involved in the team and they will feel to be isolated (Schreiner, 2017)
The absence of cohesiveness in a team can result in decreasing creativity level of an
individual
Due to the presence of inequality of cultures and background history of each team
member the chances of rising conflict increases
The overall goal of the team is to always help other team members to achieve the aim and
objective of the project and satisfy all our stakeholders properly. All the team members sell
put their effort throughout the project lifecycle to reduce the chances of raising any conflict
so that the whole team can concentrate to fulfil the goal.
Reflection:
While developing this assignment on teamwork and reflection, I realised very well the need
of leadership qualities which are required to be present in a person who leads a team or a
group of people to achieve the common goal of a project. In this assignment, I being the
‘Finance Officer’ was having the role to oversee the total cost required for the project and for
feature IT application like software by which the orders can review the breeding process, the
history of the horse, the procedure being taken for their upbringing and so on.

He/she should always share his/her vision with all team members to have a common
view towards the goal
Should always have the positive attitude towards other members of the team
Should be competent enough to be a person whom everybody can trust and listen to
the decision as their own
An ICT project manager in IT profession, need to handle very well experienced and highly
skilled team members. This is the reason that especially in it professional the project manager
must have all the skills and qualities which are required to be a leader. Like in a leader, the
ICT project manager should have the listening skill, strong verbal communication skill,
superior quality of conflict resolution, and must always distribute the job evenly about that
timbers by assessing the strength and weakness of each team member (Krahn & Hartment,
2006). In my view, they ICT project manager involved in IT profession should always have
the proper leadership skill to drive the project towards success.
