contrasting their findings. It will discuss the importance and effectiveness of organizational
culture for the leaders or managers within the organizations. The first article evaluates the rise of
organizational culture which helps in increasing the overall productivity and profitability of the
firm. The second article critically reflects that organizational performance can be enhanced by
motivating and attracting talented people within the organization. Thus, the paper will provide a
detailed understanding of the organizational culture that is beneficial for the organizations.

The first article describes the popularity and rise of organizational culture within the
organizations that are described with the help of theoretical perspectives and based on
organizational cultures (Mathew, 2019). It demonstrated several particularities of economically
and interesting important content. Based on three perspectives of organizational culture like
fragmentation, integration and differentiation, the article presents the aspects of employment by
providing an insight into the indeterminacies and conflicts of the findings related to cultural

effectiveness. The study also possesses certain limitations, such as the difficulty of sustaining

After reviewing the second article, it is seen that culture is regarded as a significant factor for
organizational success. The article demonstrates the fact that organizational culture possesses the
ability to create an impact on the effectiveness and performance of an organization by retaining
talented individuals, motivating and attracting people and increasing productivity and morale.
Understanding organizational cultures help in sustaining as well as creating strong cultures
(Warrick, 2017). The article evaluated the fact that most of the organizations focus on motivating
people to work together. Moreover, the types of behavior of an individual that is devalued as
well as valued creates an impact on enhancing the organizational culture. As a result, it becomes
significant for organizational leaders to understand the desired behaviors of the organizational
members. They are also required to understand the influence of influential people on
organizational culture that helps them in selecting appropriate people who fit into the desired
culture. It focuses on a strong culture that possesses a significant impact on the practices and

are usually related to higher performance as compared to weak cultures.

While comparing both the articles, it has been observed that the first article demonstrates the
effectiveness of organizational culture with the help of implementing functionalist and
quantitative approaches for the organizational managers. Similarly, the second article also states
the importance of organizational culture that needs to be analyzed by the leaders within the
organizations. Both articles determine the roles and responsibilities of the managers who are also
