2CASE STUDY ANALYSIS IN TEACHING PRACTICECase Study 1Identification of ProblemThe separation of the parents of Zach has mentally disturbed Zach and it has deeplyaffected him. Zach is good at maths but he stays quiet in his independent work time. It showsthat he is talented but he suffers on account of the family problem that has deeply affectedhim. He is shrouded by a feeling of loneliness and experiences mental disturbance[ CITATION McP14 \l 16393 ]. Zach and Patrick keep on arguing in class and he is sayingthat Patrick is teasing him and that he is responding angrily to that of Patrick. He is evencrying in the class that points out that his family problems are tearing him apart and playinghavoc on his mental condition.Relevant Educational TheoryThe Social Cultural Theory highlights that changes in behaviour occurs on account ofenvironmental along with personal elements. This theory can be said to be in congruencewith that of the principle of self-efficacy and it suggests that the thoughts of an individualaffect his behaviour [ CITATION Ang15 \l 16393 ]. Zach is undergoing emotional painowing to the circumstances of his life. The personal circumstances in the life of an individualcan have effect on the behaviour of a sensitive child and gravely torment him. Theenvironment of an individual has an effect on his behaviour. The atmosphere at the home ofthe child is very turbulent and the child feels insecure as a result of the separation of hisparents. He feels uncared for and insecure at school.

3CASE STUDY ANALYSIS IN TEACHING PRACTICESteps taken by the teacherCo-operative learning activities should be introduced by the teacher in the class thatcan help in the bonding of the students. The whole class can be divided into different groupsand each group should have students of different level [ CITATION Mil17 \l 16393 ]. Thestudents can be provided with a prompt. The prompt in this case can be a written passage oran argument. Each of the student should respond to that of the prompt by writing it down.After every student has written the response, then they can read and share the responseswithin the group. Each student would react to the response of the other members of the group.This process will help Zach in effective communication within the class and help him ingetting over his problems.
