2EVENT MANAGEMENT Part 1: Reflective WritingAccording to Cowan (2014) reflective writing is a writing that a person practice in orderto describe an event that he/she has attended or experienced over a time. In this writing theperson writes its own reflection or own thought that it feels he/she has learn through the event.There are various questions that the writer of reflective event ask it its oneself about the event ithas experienced such as “What did he/she learn?”, “Why was the event important?:” and so on.This helps them to know the actual understanding of the attendant event. Reflective writing iswritten after attending the event and not by listening to the experience of others. Purpose of Reflective Learning:1.Help them to learn a lot from a practical experience2.Help the writer to notice the places where they lacked learning and addressing them infuture events (Farrell 2013)3.It help the writer to make sense of whatever they are writing 4.It gives a chance to the writer to think deeply about a topic and get to learn various things5.It is the best way a person can learn from their own experiencePart 2: Lecture 1: Typology (Cultural event)The typology here describes a cultural event. Cultural events refer to events that takesplace for to bring various culture together under one roof and interact with each other. Suchevents also help people to know about others cultural and tradition (Kwon et al. 2015). It is doneto celebrate the practice and customer of two or more cultures.
