Executive Summary
The main aim of this study is to analyze the challenges faced due to the rapidly changing
technologies, customer expectations, globalized economy etc. This study also accesses the
impact of these challenges on the performance of the company. This report analyses the Airbus
operational areas and techniques for deeper understanding about the operational management
activities of the companies. This study highlights the importance of operation management in
order to enhance customer satisfaction, optimum utilization of resources, production efficiency,
productivity and competitive advantage over its rival companies in the industry. On the basis of
the deep analysis of operation management at Airbus, this study explains how these challenges
can be converted into opportunities to become the market leader. It also explains how

efficiency, eco-friendly process, financial benefits etc.

operation management practices. This study helps to understand the importance of demand

efficiency in the business. Mainly, this study is about the analysis of challenges faced due to
changing demand, technology, globalization in market, cut throat competition etc. Basically this

worldwide. In addition to it, the company has aircraft and helicopter final assembly lines across
Asia, Europe and the America (Airbus, 2017).
