IntroductionThe term communication can be defined as flow of information of message from one person toanother. It is considered to be an important tool because it helps two persons to gain as well asshare thoughts. As a result be it any kind of industry proper flow of communication is very muchimportant. In this research study a brief discussion will be conducted to show the importance ofthe proper communication in the medical field as well as how using different kinds ofcommunication theories helps an individual to conduct a proper flow of communication. Task 1Answer AThough there are different kinds of communication theories but in this particular case wherethere was an inconsistency among the doctor in addition to the patient the cognitive dissonancetheory will be the best suited communication theory. Cognitive dissonance theory can be definedas type of communication theory in which there is a drift for the persons to look for thesteadiness in between their suggestions[ CITATION Han133 \l 1033 ]. Medical line is a professionwherein patience as well as keeping the mind cool in addition to compose is very importantalong with also one of the pivotal is to provide the other party to express his problem in a propermanner so that proper medication can be offered to the sick person. In the given scenario it hasbeen seen that doctor was very fast in his treatment as well as he didn’t allow the patient to fullyexplain his problem, as a result wrong treatment was done due to which the patient has to loss hislife which clearly shows there was no opinion or belief in their communication which isconsidered to be as inconsistent. In this type of situation for example in order to overcome the
death of that victim it is important for the doctor that he should from now onwards follow thecognitive dissonance theory of communication which will help both the parties to share as wellas gain proper information about the problem[ CITATION Fes62 \l 1033 ]. Answer BAccording to my understanding and work experience in a medical related filed the definition ofcommunication is somewhat different from that of the bookish definition. As per my knowledgeand particularly in the medical filed communication is something where a person can express hisor her feelings and the other person can easily understand it and based on that deal with theproblem. This process will help both the person to easily communicate with each other and willassist to create a long term relationship. The same kind of things I have experienced in my ownfiled where used to work as a caretaker in a residential care home. Though I just worked for onlyone month but still within that short period of time I bale to create a good relationship with thepeople with my good communication aptitude[ CITATION Abb111 \l 1033 ]. While working one dayI was very much busy assisting to care for a person who was a frequent visitor of the instituteand suddenly found that the person was not feeling good. When I was passing by that person hestopped me and asked me to take to the loo door. Though I was very busy at that time servingmy own patient still I asked that person to wait for a second so that I can manage the two peopleequally. When I turned back I saw the person was crawling with pain and I quickly called theother person and also called an ambulance to take that person to the hospital. After all theseincident I heard that the person was already injured with his left leg bone broken and as he triedto walk by his own he fell down again. Hearing this incident I felt very bad as because of myfault he had to wait and this happened. On the other hand I was also very happy because of mygood communication skill I managed to call the other people for help and also called the
