INTRODUCTIONIn a health care home, nurse play an important role foe performing the activities in anefficient manner. Thus, the individual is responsible to take care of the patients, listen to theirneeds and comfort them so as to provide them with greater service. A professional nurse acquirethe qualities which may comfort the patients to a greater extent (Fulton, Lyon and Goudreau,eds., 2014). Further, in this report the detailed study is been made on the nurses specificallyworking in the paediatric field. Moreover, there attributes and the qualities of a good nurse isbeen determined. At last the training required to make a beginner nurse to become an expert isbeen studied in efficient manner.Professional attributes of nurseTo become an efficient nurse, they must access several attributes in them so as to servethe patients with greater care. The following are the attributes which a nurse must have a becomea good nurse:Caring- It is important for the nurse to be highly caring, understanding and non-biasedtowards the patients so as to serve the patients with greater care. As they are first personto meet the patients at the time they come to avail the services. Good communication skills- It is considered to be the most important aspect to becomean efficient nurse. They are directly interacting with both the patients as well as doctorsfor providing with the treatment. Thus, it becomes important to have goodcommunication skills so as make the interaction properly (Adams, 2011).Responsible- An efficient nurse must understand there responsibility and must make surethat they perform them with great accuracy. They are playing an important role in thehealth care as they assess and treat the patients. Emotional stability- As it is been stated that nursing is a stressful job where theindividual has to come across several types patients suffering from whereas diseases.Thus, it is important for them to be emotionally stable while treating the patients.Scope to determine the qualities of specialised nurseThere are several attributes which differs with becoming an expert nurse in a certainfield. Thus the following are the standards according to which an expert nurse is differentiatedfrom the novice nurse.1
