INTRODUCTION
Study skills are an important array of skills which handle the whole process of organising
and picking new information and knowledge, to retain it and dealing with the assessment. It
includes the mnemonics that helps in retention of knowledge with help of effective reading,
concentration technique and note making. The major study skills that are used in respective
assignment is to transform the secondary education to the higher education. Respective kind of
skills proved potential for students to be autonomous in nature that are one of challenging task
for them. In higher education some kind of potential skills are required that are composition and
documentation, problem solving and critical thinking, communication and leadership skills that
are very much potential for an individual to remain always competitive in the marketplace. To
develop respective kinds of skills it is very much potential to opt one of best learning style that
helps to give one of best results (Cottrell, 2017. ). To develop skills and capabilities it is very
crucial to evolve brain capabilities and store it for long time to gain potential outcomes in near
future. To store the knowledge and information mind mapping used to gain potential outcomes.
So it is very much crucial in competitive edge to develop and prosper in area of study skills as it
keeps motivation high and enables to achieve goals and objectives in effective manner to gain
growth in career.
Different learning styles.
In the competitive world it is very much potential to develop own learning style after
accessing capabilities of oneself (Wibrowski, Matthews and Kitsantas, 2017.). Each individual
prefers different learning style and techniques some mix them to gain desirable outcomes. There
are majorly seven kinds of learning styles existed that are as follows:

Aural ( Auditory- Musical)
Verbal (Linguistic)
Physical (Kinaesthetic)
Logical (Mathematical)
Social (interpersonal)
