Each person has own objectives and goals and individual work hard to meet that
objectives. If these short and long term goals are met successfully then it may help person in
gaining success in academics and getting more development opportunities in near future.

Goal can be defined as fundamental principle to get long term success in academics.
Setting goal supports learner in paying more attention on their process or pattern to study in
University and making changes in it to get success in near future. This helps students in
utilising resources in effective manner so that individual can finish their study of all subjects on
time. Goals make the person accountable towards gaining success (The importance of setting

Goal setting is very important for students to move forward in their career. By this way
person can plan things and can arrange it in specific manner so that future long term goal can be
accomplished. Students their specific objective which prepare for their adult hood and they
become . By this way they can get more experience and can use these experiences for their
developments. Goal setting improves survival skills of students and enhance their abilities to get
