Study skills are those approaches which are applied to learn any things. These skills are
considered very essential to acquire the good grades and other useful learning thoughts towards
the successful education. Students can develop their study skills by learning some discrete
technique that can be learned with in a short period of time. Theses skills are applicable in most of
study's field. Main aim of the study skills are to guide the tips for various strategies and also bring
an improvement in studying habits. The study skills are effective approach for learning as it
include many types of skills such as management skills, leadership skill, communication skill,
problem solving skills and other etc. This report will include the 10 key skills that are common in
a higher eduction and also help the student to get success in their university career (Moncel and
et. al., 2020).

have various skills and abilities. They also need to crave out these types of skills by taking them in
their practising as these abilities will help them to build a strong professional career. In this, there
are numerous skills that a student need to have, which are give the below:
 Time management skill- In this activity, it include the process of organising and planning
that how to mange and divide task between some specific activities. There is a positive
impact of good time management on the jobs in a variety. A good management of time
make sure that a person always have the enough time so that he become prepare to focus
on their task. If an individual wisely mange their time, it will increase their happiness and
improve work life balance. The time management skill helpful in stress reduction and also
allows to achieve goals very efficiently and faster. Good time management skill is very
significant for the students as it help them to priorities in a better way an raise their
productivity. This skill make enable to work smarter to get some more done with in the
less time period and help to capture the create opportunities. By having this kill a student
become more intentional about invest their time that help them to maximize their all
strength very efficiently. So, for the future career of the students, time management skills
is very important for them (Soto, 2020).

 Communication skill- This skill is very basic and it is required by everyone specially the
students to communicate with others. By having this skill a person easily can understand
that how to handle an aggressive client or peoples and make able to talk a sensitive person.
It is very helpful skill for the students as it is used in mostly fields. A student require good
communication skill to get success on their career as it aid to helps them land a interview.
To perform their job in an efficient manner they need to talk about the problem, interact
with others, the request information and to have a good human relationship skill- as these
are parts of a good communication skill. Development of this skill facilitate an interaction

 Leadership skill- It consider the strength and ability of a person which helps them to
oversee the processes and lead their team towards the common goals. Students require this
skill for their career growth as it helps them to build the connections. They have many task
or projects for which they have to make groups or build a team. For this an efficient team
is formed and the leader provide some essential directions to other students. By having the
leadership skill, a student is able to build their career path as this skill directly proportional
to the confidence of students. The quality of this skill let them to understand themselves
as well as the world around them better. The leadership skill helpful to enhance student's
resume and make them able to appealing candidates in their professional life, because an
employer wants the capable employees who can work in a team an mange them efficiently

 Creative thinking- This skill describe those techniques which can be used to look at a
problem from different and an creative angle with the help of right tools, so that the issues
can be assessed and develop a plan. This skill include the imagination, curiosity and an
open mildness. For a student this skill is very important as it is helpful to look a critical
situation from a fresh and different prospectives. It lead to the feeling of an achievement
and pride that they have the ability to think in a unique way. This skill is required by the
students as to become creative in all approaches with every aspects. It is helpful for them

to understand the present world in a better way and give this world a new prospective by
different answers. Hence, it is very essential for the students to have creative thin king skill

 Research skill- This skill show the ability of providing in depth information and their
detailed analysis with a suitable advice fro this particular topic. An individual contain the
ability of searching, locating, extracting, organising, evaluating and to present the
information that is related to the specific topic. It involve the an intensive search their
investigation and a critical analysis. Students must have this skill as it make enable them to
determine the problems to collect the informational resources that can be helpful to address
the particular problem, measure or evaluate these resources for the quality and then comes
up with a effective solution. Research skill play an important role in student's career by
discover new treatment and make sure that ythey use an existing treatment in effective
possible way. Hence, it is very essential that students must have this skill for their
professional development (Sukmawati, F. and Nashir, 2021).
 Decision making- This skill is the internal part of professional life as well as personal
life. It is an ability to pick out a best and right course of an action after carefully analysing
and examining current options and the given circumstances. By having this skill, students
are being able to take right and correct decisions after carefully analysing the situation. It
boost their self- determination to understand how to take good decisions and help them to
select better decision for their future career and the professional life. It assists them to learn
and understand the different alternative skills. It I helpful for them by showing their
decision making's efficiency at their job which help to build a better career ( Žilinskaite
and Hajro, 2020).
 Technological skill- It include those abilities and knowledge which are used to perform
well a given practical task in the field of engineering, science, arts and other etc. it
involve those qualities that are acquires to use and gain expertise for performing digital
and physical task. After getting comfortable in the technical field, students become more
employable and it will become easy to find time for work after the graduation. By having
this skill, students become more confidence as they have more knowledge about this field
and perform their daily task efficiently. This skill make able them to enjoy a significant

high pay work and it also allows them to leverage technology to hilt. For a better career,
this skills is very effective and helpful for the students (Grossman and Valiga, 2020).
 Listening skill- It include the ability of accurately interpret the content in
communication. With this skill, a person pay attention towards what the other peoples are
saying and listen them carefully. This skill allows an individual to understand given
information that is conveyed by others to them. With an effective listening skill the
students become to able make their career better as they realise and make relation between
ideas and the information. Once they understand peers at the work, then will be
appreciated by others and students can gain respect or trust of their peers. This active
listening skill is helpful for them as to diffuse the conflict after understanding the
condition very carefully. Listening skill is very imperative to get success at the workplace,

development.
 Problem solving skill- It identifies the causes of a problem or issue, deconstruct it and
create some effective actions to handle and address the challenges. It is important to have
this skill in order to complete a task. In this, it generate alternative solution of a problem,
evaluate it and choose a best alternative. The problem solving skill enable the students to
identifies and to exploit the opportunities within the environment and also exert the control
over the future. It is a vital skill to develop student's career in their professional life. By
having effective problem solving skill, a student become enable to analyse the problem and
assess an effective alternate solution that is helpful for them them to work efficiently
(Jaber, 2020).
 Team work- In this skill, it include those abilities and qualities that allows a person to
work efficiently with the other peoples at the time of the conversation, projects, meetings
and other collaborations. Teamwork is depend on the ability of the communication, their
active listing and the responsibility. This skill is most important that is required by all
students at every phase of their career. For work with a team helps them to produce more
and more. They must have understand the importance of unity to attain their goal. In

coming future their line of work will require them to work very respectfully and effectively
with other. It helps them to better their self confidence and also inspire them to participate
them in the group activities. There are numerous way in their future career to work
closely with other peoples. Therefore, all students require to work well with others so that
they have a meaningful and the lifelong career ( Fanti, Guarascio and Tubiana, 2021).

career as these skills make them able to understand or enhance their knowledge in various fields.
These skills give them a different prospective and help to thought in a unique or creative way.
They mange their time efficiently to complete a given task. These types of skills enhance their
confidence and also motivate them for work in a team. They become responsible and efficient to
grip a critical situation by comes up with new ideas. By having all these abilities they can achieve
