Education system has to be changed very drastically by shifting towards digital learning
that is e learning where tutor teaches by using digital mediums. In this effective communication
skills is very essential to enhance overall reading and writing ability. In this e- learning creates a
big challenge for students and teachers by adopting the access of e-learning. It keeps students
busy with their worksheets, assignments etc. To learn things effectively students have effective
reading skills. It includes several strategies which are useful to improve students reading ability
so that their quality of written work also improves which are essential in growth of personal and
professional career.

INTRODUCTION
Study skills refers to an approach that boost an individual person ability to study, read,
recall information which are useful to getting pass within exams or a career. In current education
system reading is an essential aspect which helps in improving students vocabulary and their
understanding power (Tseng, Yi and Yeh, 2019). Reading skills refers to an ability which
represents a person ability to read, interpret and decode, comprehend texts messages and written
language. It is useful to interact with person and gain meaning from written language. This report
includes several strategies that are essential to develop the reading ability of a students so that
they enhance their professional career in competitive business environment. Further this
elucidates suggestions which helps students to enhance quality of written projects by improving
their reading skills. At last it reflects recommendations that are useful to enhancing overall
reading skills and writing projects.

Discuss some strategies that students use to improve their reading ability
Reading skill is an ability to understand or comprehend what a person written. To
improve reading ability it is very essential for a student to understand their classroom
curriculum. Developing an interest in reading is a foundation of improving reading skill. There
are several ways to improve reading skill (How to Improve Your Reading Skills, 2021). By doing
speed reading fluency is to be maintained this will enhance a some strategies that a student can
adopts to improve their reading ability which are demonstrate below:
 Set aside time to read every day- It is one of a strategy that is opted by a student to
improve the reading skills. Practice makes a man perfect is an impressive thought for
building skills effectively. Developing and improving reading skills needs regular 15-20
minutes minimum practice. In this a student read news article, fiction, books, magazine
issues etc.
 Set reading goals- It is another strategy that students must adopts to improve their
reading ability. Setting the goals related to reading by yourself have developed overall
vocabulary. This helps in understanding several text by making interrelations between
things a student read and their own ideas and thoughts. In this a student need to set goals
related to reading by focusing on several topic so that numerous subject knowledge are to

be enhanced. This also helps in recognising the meaning of non familiar words and
phrases that are essential to improve reading ability.
 Take notes while reading- To improve reading ability a student must prepare notes at
the time of read something. For example- If a student want to improve reading ability
he/she must develops noted while reading a novel to deeply understand the choice of
language of an author. Preparing an effective notes helps in promptly ask questions and it
will develops connections what a student or a person needs.
 Be fully in the moment- It is an another strategy that must used by a student to
echinacea their study skills by fully present at a moment. In this they effectively
emphasis on classes and tutors lectures that are provided to them so that reading has to be
done properly (Kumar and et. al., 2019)). Taking classes and reading topics with a open
mind set helps a student to properly develops their reading ability which is useful in their
future. It is to be analysed that to developed reading skills is not to be done only with
focus on vocabulary but also based on written language and many more.
Provide suggestions that help students to improve quality of their written projects
Reading properly helps and supports an individual students to improve their reading
skills. Reading ability influence a student to develop and improve quality of written projects
which is highly beneficial for professional career. To write a report several suggestions are to be
presented below which helps in improving quality of a overall projects that are presented below:
 Avoid to use several short words in a row- A sentence with a short words can creates
difficulty to read an article. To make a flow in a content a student must use a combination
of shorter and longer words (Burns and Siegel, 2017). For instance- if a student used
several in case of a lot, that reflects a content more effective and precise which helps in
presenting report properly.
 Vary your sentence length and structure- To writing a report, student must focus on a
length and structure of a sentence because it helps in presenting a report in an appropriate
manner. It help readers to read properly and make flow of a sentence.
 Use of graphs- Graphical representation in writing a report helps a student to improve
quality of writing. It also helps in properly understand a topic that are complex in nature
so that readers ability also enhanced. Ability of reading and writing is interlinked with
one another. Use of graphs helps to make a project attractive and easily understandable

by a another person. In this students should insert graphics and pictures to make clear the
topic.
 Be specific and use of proper language- To improve the ability of written a project it is
highly essential for a student to use a proper language by avoiding slang words. If a
report is prepared for a academic purpose then tutor must ensures that it is free from any
type of error or a grammatical mistakes (León, Bravo and Fernández, 2017). In this errors
present in grammar and use of informal language present a project report bad and
ineffective. It also reduce the reputation of a writer that present lack of knowledge of a
student in related subject matter. When students adopts the use of proper formal language
in their project report without having any grammatical mistakes reflects a serious and
impressive project report. This will represent a reader impression positively on tutor.
Therefore, in this students must try to avoid slang words and focus on using formal words
that are free from grammatical error.
By analysing above strategies and suggestions it is to be presented that these strategies
are very useful for a student to enhance growth in reading and writing skills. In this several
challenges are to be faced by tutor and students in understanding terms and concepts related to
writing a project. To attained the targets it is highly essential that students have a good
concentration power including interest so that their ability to improve reading and writing skills
is to be done appropriately and prominently.
RECOMMENDATIONS
By analysing several strategies and suggestions related to improving reading skills and
quality of writing a project, some recommendations are to be discussed. Several practice that an
individual person adopts to improve their reading skills such practices are regular reading, notes
taking etc. are implemented and on the basis of these some recommendations are to be provided
that are presented below:
 In current scenario, it is recommended that students can improve their reading and
writing skills by developing their interest to read and write. It is a best way to enhance
and improve ability and skills. For this they need a active reader and also needed to
prepare points in an appropriate manner (Özkür, 2020)(Darancik, 2018). In this it is
recommended to organise a open ended reading sessions after every lectures. It helps in

developing confidence and eliminating confusions which enhance ability of students to
gain appropriate results.
 Another term that is recommended for students is to be positive at the time of reading that
helps in communicating the phrase effectively which is easily understand by another
person. In this tutors of a students highly emphasise on developing positivity so that
objectives related to improving reading and writing ability is fulfilled.
 It is to be recommended for a teachers of students to take regular follow up of every
students by conducting a regular session after class. It helps students to gain attention and
keep understanding concept properly. In this tutors provide proper instruction to students
related to reading and writing a project on particular time frame so that students ability to
read an write a particular study is done effectively and efficiently.
CONCLUSION
By analysing above report it is to be concluded that having a reading skills are very
essential to develops career in future perspective. This report helps in understanding the several
strategies that students can adopts to improve their reading ability so that they will enhance their
living standard by enhancing their vocal. It also represents the several ways to improve quality of
written projects for preparing a report. Strategies based on effective reading includes regular
reading, preparing notes etc. It also elucidates several suggestions that helps a particular student
to improve their written quality perfectly.
