classroom has the mainstream teachers and similar topics which are taught from long term. The
writing and reading skills are the basic quality of a student and they are important for effective
learning of the student.

TASK 2
INTRODUCTION
The students have skills which makes them work effortlessly towards cranking out of
words which will help them in conveying their knowledge and it is the basis on which there
knowledge is evaluated. Writing is the hard skill and reading the soft skill of students and they
have to be effective in them (Assiter, 2017). It is the skill of the student which is important to
succeed and achieve the literacy. The report includes the skills of the student which will improve
the quality of their work and making them effective in their writing and reading skills and the
recommendations to improve the quality of the writing and reading. It is important for the
student to make them successful and increases their learning.
MAIN BODY
1. Strategies to improve the reading ability of the students
The students should have the good reading ability and the teachers make them read in the
classes because they understand that it increases their ability to think when they read. It is not
taught in the classes but they are the skills which the student should have and should focus on as
they will impact their learning and growth (Suleman, 2018). The practice of reading will make
them effective and the communication will be better when the student will read on different
topics.
 Discussions on the topic- The discussion are the effective methods of increasing the
knowledge. The students will be knowledgeable when they discuss rather when they
write as they will get the input of others on the topic and it will induce their thought on
the topic and will help them grow. The discussions can be with teachers, professors or
students and faculty members and gathering knowledge will give them clear
understanding and they will get more knowledge.
 Preparing notes- The students should make small notes on the topics they read. It is
important for students because they tend to forget things and they will get the gist of what
they read when they make small notes. They should write important things, the summary
and the practical examples which are given in the class (Khlaisang and Songkram, 2019).
It will improve their habit of reading and whenever they will study they will have a better
understanding of the topic.

 Understanding through visualizing- The students should concentrate of the the topic
which will make them visualize the context and make them remember. They are
important and will make it interesting for the students which will like reading it and it
will give better understanding (Borrás-Gené, 2018). The students should connect it with
the practical example and should create an understanding of it which they can relate
visually.
 Annotate the important topics- The students should have the habit to mark the
important topics. It will be helpful for them as they will read them when they want to
read and it will give them the understanding of what is important. Hey should write the
questions which are answered in the topic they are reading or annotate the explanation of
the topics. It will make them focus on what they learnt and it will improve their
knowledge.
 Set reading goals- The reading should be the habit of the student as it is the most
important thing which is helping in improving their writing and communication. They
should set that 3 topics they will read or 15 min they will read. This will increase their
focus and they will get the better understanding of the topics. The students who have the
habit of reading are intellectual and have the knowledge of many things. The teachers
should make them read the books which are important for their classes and there are
many topics which they should be aware of and are not in the course which should be
read in the class to make the students understand it.
2. The guidelines to improve the quality of the written projects of the students.
The world is moving from the large chunk of illiterate people to getting the elementary
education to students (Moore and Morton, 2017). Writing is an important element of the
education of the student where writing and reading works together to make the students grow
and learn. The teachers can help students in improving writing and they should work with them
to increase the quality of their projects. The writing should be able to achieve the goal of the
student and it should convey the knowledge and the quality of the work.
 Writing as a process to clarify the problems- The students should understand the
importance of writing as a process and it clarifies the problems which should be in a
language to make it understood by others. There is a sequence in writing which should
have summary and conclusion of the topic. The words used by the student are the most

important thing as they will help them in writing which should be in the best quality
(Halberstadt and et.al., 2019).
 The work should be revised- The work should be read by the student and they will get
the mistakes and will be helpful for them to improve them. The quality of the written
projects is improved when they read it. They can take the critique which will make them
identify problems and will give them good marks in the projects. The revision increases
the knowledge of the students and they get the options to review their work.
 The importance of grammar and sentence structure- The work of the students should
be reviewed by them and then sent to the teachers as it will help them in finding the
mistakes in grammar and sentences. The teachers should help the students in sentence
structure and teach them the mistakes made by others so that they improve their writing
style. The teachers should correct students when they make mistakes as it will make them
realise that they are impacting their writing.
 The writing should be effective- The writing of the student will be effective when they
will have the knowledge of the topic which will come when they discuss in the class
(Springer, 2016). The student should be motivated by the teacher to wrote in the class so
that they convey their understanding and them make it a base to write the questions. The
effectiveness of the writing is when others can understand what they are writing and they
communicate the similar knowledge to everyone.
 Summary of the writing- The work should be summarized and it should include the
knowledge of the topic which is important for the students to give the structure to their
project. It is helpful for the teachers because they will feel that they are reading the
complete project. The teachers should teach the students and make the strategies to
summarize the work and it is the most important factor in the writing skills. The students
should make it a habit to write in the class which will improve their knowledge (Bueno,
2017).
RECOMMENDATIONS
 The students can use different models which will help them in effective reading and
writing skills and will improve their quality. The students should apply the knowledge of
the models in their work so that they remember it and they can measure their
performance. It will help the students in improving their writing and can review their

work and its effectiveness (Hebert and Hauf, 2015). The relationship of a teacher and
student should be long term because they will help the students learn different things and
it motivates them to work when they feel that the teacher has trust in them which will
make them learn faster.
 The reading and writing is the skills which is connected and cannot be taught as it is
based on the ability of the student to understand it. They should make the writing
effective by highlighting the important topic and it should be in a attractive way which
will make it interesting to others. It makes the work of the student easy when they read it
as they will get the important topic and will get good marks.
 The teachers should monitor the work of the students and make them realise their
mistakes so that they work on it and improves their performance. The teachers are the
best mentors to influence the behaviour of students and they can make them grow and
learn. The students should get work evaluated by the teachers which is important in
classroom and for their growth (Barr, 2019).
CONCLUSION
From the above report it is concluded that the students have different challenges when
they read and write. They should identify them and improve it because it will help them in
effective writing. The students can be taught different skills according to their ability and it will
make them successful in their career. The importance of different strategies have different impact
on the students and the teachers can improve their performance by evaluating their work. There
is a difference in reading and writing skills and they should be taught to students to make it
attractive for them. The students should learn from their teachers because they will make them
understand their problems and help them in improving it.
