INTRODUCTION
Study skills are basically the study strategies are basically applied to the process of
learning. When it comes to the study skills, these are basically the array of skills which generally
tackle the organizing process and helps in dealing with the assignments, taking in new
information and also retaining information. In the present essay, it will basically cover three
different topics which comprises of the different approaches to learning, the capabilities of the
brain and how mind mapping could be used for the purpose to retrieve and store information.
MAIN BODY
Assignment 1 Task
Learning is basically a social process which is conducted either less directly or more
directly with the other humans. In reference to individuals, they try to learn by trying various
peripheral activities then take on more complex activities as they see other individuals perform.
In reference to learning approach, it is considered to be a self-explanatory term and when using a
learning method it is always used for the purpose to gain knowledge and new things. In reference
to various approaches to learning, it comprises of behaviouristic approach which is usually
focused on the behaviour and any learning which is typically related to behaviour change is
learned best with the help of this approach. In context to change in behaviour, it requires several
skills and is generally used more in the practical learning. When it comes to behaviouristic
learning approach it generally focuses and pay much emphasis on the reinforcement and
repetition. Another approach is social learning which is very closely related to the approach of
behaviouristic which is basically the extension of this concept. In reference to approach of social
learning, it comprises of the other behaviour rather than focusing on the learner.
Another approach is called as the Constructivist approach which involves the skills that
are required by the learner to be creative and this technique basically focuses on the revaluation
and reflection and it also helps in encouraging the learner to establish a link with the minds of the
prior knowledge and creating connections. In addition to that cognitive learning approach is
