INTRODUCTION Study skills are an arrangement of skills which tackle the process of organising and help in rejuvenating new information,attaining information and dealing with different assessments by making effective strategies. It is an set of skills which can be applied in every field of related to studies. Study skills adds into personal development of an individual and acts as an opportunity in n individual lives. Good study skills increases the overall confidence, competencies and self esteem and enables the individual to be more effective and efficient in their roles and attain their desired outcomes (Goundar and Kumar, 2021). The essay will include the role of skills in a curriculum vitae and how its helps an individual to remain competent in their roles and responsibilities.It discusses the different set of skills which an individual should possess to increase their overall potential and productivity. Set of skills helps an individual to grow in their careers and to keep updated and relevant in today's era of changing modern world of technology. Skills can be hard skills which relates to a specified area or job designation and soft skills which are interpersonalskillsand the ability to remain coordinativeand collaborative with others in the workplace. Skills can be developed through training, higher education and experience which provides additional benefits to the individual(Rasheed, Kamsin and Abdullah, 2020). It amplify the employment to an individual and help them acquire different development opportunities. To get competent aperson should focus on different areas and adopt alternative strategies that would enable an individual to get advance in their roles and responsibility.Skills adds in personal development and can be developed by different ways which includes skills audit. It helps to determine and identify the skills which are to be developed and acquired in order to get competent then others.In workplace it is used to eliminate the unproductive efforts of employees and fill the gap by providing them adequate trainings and knowledge that will increase their overall productivity. Improving the efficiency of employees helps the organisation to excel their success and growth. Many online courses are availablethat will help to get certified with different specialised knowledge in different fields and areas. Online education and training have made an ease to an individual to get access to different opportunists by just sitting at their homes. Another skills which should be retain by an individual is connect with your peers, it demands for an collaborative and coordinative attitude and behaviour of individual towards their organisation and colleagues. It will help an individual to get access to knowledge and different skills that are being possessed by the expertise in their field of operations. It enables to remain updated with the trends and advancement that are taking place in the marketplace.
