INTRODUCTION
The long and the gradual process on the study skills is development and the
improvement. When the learner is very new to the higher education or they have study for a short
period of time then they feel worried or get pressurised for the assignments related to tackling,
giving exam, study management, work as well as the family commitments. By regular review or
developing the new skills of the study may boost the confidence as well as helps the learners in
succeeding lives. It also helps the learners for working in effective or in efficient manner for
study in their available time. For effective and efficient learning for studying there is need to
develop some skills, as the skills are transferable in the life. Having good skills in study may
enhance the competence, confidence as well as improve self-esteem. It even reduce the anxiety
for the exam, deadlines as well as the test. The developing of efficient skills in study may helps
the individuals in cutting down the long time for studying along with that it left the individuals
having some extra time for doing different activities in their life. This report study may provide
the brief advice for CV boosting in case the individual is fresher's or may not have any
experience. The report study also discussed about the skills which the student need to develop in
the university as well as discussed importance of the skills.

TASK1
The COVID-19 pandemic has lead the everyone to think about the skills in order to make
a move ahead for carrier perspective. As each member are forced to stay at home in order to earn
their livelihood. The students who just graduated from the universities during the pandemic may
have to rethink about their education because they were locked in their premises as well as in
houses. Everyone was develop concern about their future or for career. In order to succeed in
their career they have to opt some skills or need to upgrade some skills even setting at their
homes. In order to show some skills in their CV, the student get attend some virtual internships
as well as done some remote working and they need to pass those internship practice from the
university, as this are the only best option to practice or upgrading skills even at the homes. But
the virtual internships are provide the job for short period which are sometimes paid or
sometimes unpaid. Many of the universities as well as some organisation may provide the

various scheme for the students in order to provide them a good exposure which can be
beneficial for their career perspective (Nugraheni, Budiman and Sukmayadi., 2019).
There are very huge competition in the universities or in the organisation but the students
got to learn so many things by doing the real life projects which will assist the student for their
future as well. When the student setting at their homes, they are highly active on the social media
and are connected with their peers through which they were more likely to discussed about the
online form for their careers perspective. Through use of social media they exchanged the
learning or earning opportunities with each other which can be very beneficial for their future.
Through social media use the student get to know about their recent activities as well as get a
chance to enhance their connections along with increase connection with old alumni which can
be beneficial for future growth (Liwång., 2020). In the market the student get a chance to have
some experience by offering some help to the local organisation in their promotions by using
social media. They get a chance to learned about the market job as well as able to tell the hiring
employees about their experience. The student who passed from the universities may focused
voluntary toward the work as even the work are small or insignificant but they get a huge
opportunity for long period of time. Some student may joined the societies universities as they
are also valuable because the student get helped in order to develop professional skill. The
student organise the community event along with workshop in the schools in order to solve some
issues related to society. As it assist the student to upgrade their soft skills like creativity,
communication as well as persuasion which can beneficial to add some point related to soft skills
in their CV (Chang and Fang., 2020).
I am happy with my CV because during the pandemic I join many online courses which I
was able to add in my CV. This will really help me out for getting many job opportunities.
During pandemic I joined a reputed university in order to complete my internships. The
internship was paid as well as it was a remote working. So even setting at home I can done my
internship. I included all the things related to my internship very well in my CV so, when the
recruiter go through my CV they might took my CV for consideration. In order to upgrade my
skills I joined many university club during the pandemic period which was included in CV. Even
I joined the foreign language because I want to settle in abroad and it is very beneficial for me in
order to get a job opportunities and it add some extra points in my CV. This point highlight my
CV because many firm preferred to those candidates who are having the knowledge of multiple

languages. Through digital platform, I help the small organisation in their promotions during the
pandemic. The small organisation are not much aware about the social media platforms
regarding the promotional activity or service activity. These all things are mentioned in my CV
which is really beneficial for getting a job even stuck at home during the pandemic period.
CONCLUSION
From the above discussed essay report, it has been concluded that the there was a time
when the student are force to stuck at home even they passed from the universities during
COVID-19 pandemic which affect many students carrier or their lives. This period leads the
student to be jobless even they were graduated. But they get a chance to utilized their time by
upgrading their skills through networking, attending online courses, by doing small business
marketing through using online platform. As these things helps the student to update their CV
which make pleasant presentable to the interviewers. Apart from this the personal reflection was
made after the satisfaction with the CV.

From the universities the student get an opportunities to learn or study some skills which
can be beneficial for succeeding in their lives. Securing the good skills may enhance the
competence, boost the confidence as well as self-esteem. Having command in study skills may
assist in reducing the test or deadline anxiety and this can be achieved by regular practice. It can
also helps in cutting down the studying hours due to effective study skills. As the study skills
may improve the learning ability of learners as well as enhance the retaining knowledge. In this
report the various different skills are discussed which is important for student to develop at the
university.

In order to standing out the world of competition, the student need to learn the various
skills or abilities at the university because the skills are not improved in a single day it can take
time to develop. The students need to carve their skills by regular practising, it is a long term
processes. Various skills are developed very well within the universities. As the student get an
opportunities to be exposed to many facilities. The soft skills are developed by conveying the
ideas or messages in an effective manner. Developing these skills can be used for handling the
serious situation or conditions by taking care of the entire situation. Having these skills build the
influential personality (Fojtík., 2018). The student develop many skills during studying in the
universities. The very first skill the student develop at the universities is the problem solving
skills. Since they are new to the environment but learn to control the situation on their own way.
Enhancing the problem solving skills is very crucial as there are many uncertainty things can
happen in the lives where any unfavourable situation may turn into favourable situation. The
student must have to develop this skills in order to deal or the solve the situational challenges.
The other skills need to develop which is important is the creative thinking skill. The creative
thinking is a very creative way which play a vital role in imagination expanding (Van der Walt.,
2018).
The student are required to be creative in every aspect because it aid better understanding
with new view point. The main elemental part of education is creation as well as developing new
ideas. The other skills the student need to develop in the universities is team work. It is the most
significant skills which is required at every stage for career growth. Team work increases the
production rate. They have to understand the significance of unity because when an individual

need to work for higher level they have to work collectively. The other skills the student need to
develop is decision-making skills. From decision-making skill the student able to take decision in
the given period of time. From having this skills the the student able to make a self-stand and
they are not have to depend on other individuals. For example they will able to take decision
regarding the stream they want to pick in the universities, regarding the co-curricular activities
they want to join for developing better skills as it lead the foundation of many other skills. The
other skills the student need to develop the personality skills (Holmes and et.al., 2018).
This is develop by the choice of friend or the group we mingle therefore it is important to
make a decision even regarding the choice of friend as it make a huge impact on personality of
an individuals. The other skills need to develop is the intra-personal skills. From having this
skills, an individual able to understand their emotional intelligence, their thought, belief as well
as opinions on things. The inter-personal skills assist the individual to Mold themselves into
better leaders. By having the better understanding as well as having the adequate knowledge of
themselves can be helpful decision-making as well as helpful to take stand regarding their ideas.
When an individual have better understanding regarding themselves then they will be able to
understand others. This is important in case of certain task or in need to understand the
weaknesses or strength. The inter-personal skills assist the individual to analyse the other work.
It will help an individual to understand the intelligence and behaviour of other people with whom
they work. This skills also help an individual to working in groups, enhance better understanding
of how people work in group or how they react on certain things. By having the knowledge of
people working criteria can be advantageous for an individual (Bonner, Warren and Jiang.,
2018).
The other most important skills the students must have to develop is good communication
skills. It is one of the most basic skills required for student or a working professional to
communicate. A good communication can be helpful to understand those people who are
aggressive or who are sensitive, as it is helpful in every aspect or in every areas. The job
opportunities offer to those individual who can deal with every human being in two dimensional
way. A good communication skills can add a golden star in a resume.
The other most important skills which the student need to develop is leadership skills.
This skills assist an individual to make decision, whether an individual is follower or a leader.
The leaders is created by a method like class election, student union election, club president,

representative leader. Through this the leader is created by majority of people decision but
sometime the leader can come forward due to some circumstances or situation for example an
individual who have strong thinking ability or can make quick decision regarding their
circumstances. Leaders is created by wining the heart of people by having positive approach
under the negative circumstances. All the people including friends or teacher can drive the
academic year by having the positive mind set or by having positive approach. Therefore, the
students are required to develop this skills in order to maintain the friendly environment with
each other at university. The student who have positive mindset or the positive attitude can
consider the all areas which may aid more things regarding the positivity like enthusiastic, high
energy, confident, patient, cooperative, respectable, sense of humour as well as respectful
(Collins., 2018).
The other skills which the student must have to acquire is to good listener. Student who
are having good listener skills can be the most successful person in their lives or within the
society. This skills play a vital role in higher degree of education so it is important for the student
to develop. This skills is enhanced by doing various actions like nodding head, making proper
eye contact. Students can achieve success in their by developing these skills. Is has been notice
that the student who move to the universities may face difficulties in their lives. As they are not
bounded to attend the classes or no one here are present to monitor their homework. So student
have to learn self-discipline skills on their own by attending regular lectures, completing the
assignments on time, cooking food as well as taking care of themselves. It is important to stay
motivated in order to accomplish the task because no one is here to push them for doing the task.
Therefore, it is very important for the individuals to have self-discipline exercise on regular
basis. When this things may add in the CV that they acquire the self motivation skills from the
universities, it may look like more employable (Baptiste., 2019).
When student enter in the university they may have interaction with many people which
can arise a conflicts among them. Hence the universities teach the student to solve their conflict
on their own in an effective manner. By resolving the arise conflicts or expressing the points in
clearly or directly in the universities may aid the student to maintaining the professionalism at
the workplace or in their job. The employers seek those candidates who have soft skills as well,
as it highlighted the CV. Soft skills are the traits or the habit which refers to individual working
conditions with the other. According to individual job profile this skills aid success at the

workplace. The employer judge the candidates application on the basis of hard skills as well as
the soft skills along with their effective use. The individuals have to work with other in a team as
it is irrespective of their job role.By having the good working conditions with the client or the
team member can assist the individuals to complete their task in effective manner. The
employers select only those employees who can fit well in the dynamics of the team. Therefore,
they use soft skills as a method to measure the individuals work in team or their communication
skills. In order to show these skills to the employers the candidates need to show that they are a
team player, they must have adaptability, they must have active listening skills as well as
flexibility on the CV (Alhadabi and Karpinski., 2020).
The firms prefer to only those candidate who can wants to work for a long period of
time. When a candidates show their interest of work tenure for long period of time then they will
be the preference by the employers. Motivation as well as the commitment shows the desire of
the candidates. Having a good command on the soft skills the performance and the productivity
of the candidates is enhanced at the workplace. This skills boost the self-confidence as they can
easily resolve the conflicts or work issues at the workplace. The employers select those
candidates who may present their ideas or thought clearly or confidently in front of them or have
a command on other skills as well. This skills helps the candidates on securing the relationships
with the team members, stakeholders, clients and business partners as well. Communication
skills build positive interaction with other, empathy helps in securing the relationships with
others. Hence the employers hire to those candidates who show empathy to their colleagues,
present their view point as well as respect other thoughts as well. Securing various skills which
are mentioned above can helps the candidates in growing the reputation of employers as well as
employees. By having command on such skills can helps the employees to show their work in
proper ethical manner, complete their work in given time frame, helps to solve conflicts as well
as guide the employees to discuss about their projects with open mind set. When an employers
notice that their work are not done as expected then they tend to find the alternatives in order to
fixing their problem (Gist, Bianco and Lynn., 2019).

skills which the candidates need to learn for growth and development. It has been concluded that
the learners learn the various skills by the support of colleges or university. In order to get
