Main Body Assessment 1 It is a very clear concept that, where an individual is looking for a profession, it is necessary that such candidates have acquired better qualifications and achievements. The process of applying for a profession through preparing a CV , It is a document which contains all the relevant and necessary information of a candidate which shows their character, qualification and achievements. A manager or an HR unit initiates the process of recruitment, where they call select qualified candidates and call them for an interview based on their CV. There are two types of candidature who apply for the job, the first category of candidates is freshers and the other is experienced one. Generally, the high chance of selection is given to those who has a work experience than freshers. In a CV experienced candidates do mention their work experience which makes their CV more strong then the freshers one (Olojuolawe and et,al 2019). Companies also prefers to recruit experienced candidates as it is beneficial for the company because they do not have to train such candidates whereas for fresh candidates company has to spend time and cost to train them. Here the question is raised that if there is no prior experience with the candidates, then how they can make their CV strong and competitive. There are ways and options for such candidates to make their CV strong and attractable. For instance, a during the pandemic crisis there as great decline in an employment rate around the world. This was because, the employees were not skilled and were following the traditional approach which did not help them during such unprecedented crisis. In this modern world skills are more important than knowledge, because skills signifies the potential and credibility of an individual to face challenging situations. The business organisation also looking for such skilled candidates who can help performing better in business operations. A person is required to examine their skills and talent because it can help them to achieve their professional targets and help in carrier growth. Each person needs to start working on their skills and develop their personality because it can reflect good impression in a job interview. After unprecedented pandemic there is a drastic change in education and employment sector, now there is availability of online eduction where a student can complete their academics from online mode and in employment sector, companies are offering work from home mode. Students and job seekers needs to now the technological factors and how they can be used in present scenarios. There are numerous websites which offers onlinejobvacanciesfromdifferentorganisations, anyindividualwhomeetsuchjob
requirements can apply online and go for an interview. As there is high trend of online skill development programme or academics courses available at online platforms. Such courses are well recognised and acceptable as many individuals are applying for such online platforms (Tantra ,2019.).These are certification courses which are additional showing extra curriculum vitae which enhance and strengthen image and personality of a candidate. This does not limit to certification as there are many companies which offering new talents an online intern ship programmes, many youth and new graduates applies and enrol in such programmes to enhance their practical knowledge. These internship programmes offers knowledge and skills for candidates which helps them in their carrier growth. These options also provides candidates a better understanding of job roles and responsibilities. Candidates gets an opportunity to build personal or professional relations or network among those comes from common area and together they can share information, knowledge, ideas, experience and opportunities. Online platform is a new virtual world having enormous potential through whichon can learn many things and gather information. These personalities gives counselling to students who are fresh graduates and through their sessions they provide new ways to groom their personality and professional skills by subscribing to such programmes. Even there are many small medium enterprises that are hiring fresh talented candidates. Therefore, application and execution of good plan of action and strategies can make an individual professionally vital and active in their field of choice. If I think of my CV, I can clearly identify that where the credibility of my CV lack, as it missing many points which are essential but at the same time whatever my CV presents is rather not attractive but fairly true. The only weak points in my CV is my skills as I really don't have skills which is required in a CV, these are basic skills which I must have but due to lack in confidence I afraid to mention in my CV. The qualifications and academics part is fairly good but where it lack is skill part, it even not important that I should have all the skills as the recruiter primarily focus on the skills of interaction and how a candidate behave when interacting on any point. I know that I have framed my CV with diverse skills and achievements it would cast good impression on recruiter. For getting placed in any organisation the first and the foremost

requirement is the confidence and communication skills other are important but if one does not have other skills and ability it doe not limit them. The thing is to make convince other effectively. The other factor which affect at time of recruitment is the experience, if there is zero experience and candidate is placed then at initial stage such candidates face problems in maintaining cooperation and communication with management. As I am well aware about my weakness and I need to take needful actions for improving my weakness. It can only be improved by bringing changes in my lifestyle activities, as I need to remain focus and committed towards my targetedgoals. I need to subscribecourses which offers skillsdevelopment programmes which can help me to improve my deficiencies. I am not a multitasker but I have mentioned in my CV that I am multitasking and this impression is not at all good as this bring negative impression in the eyes of recruiter if they establish that many things in CV does not match with the candidates (Hartandet.al2021). All the companies normally look for the candidates who at least have basic knowledge and understanding about the field they are applying for. There is no need of multitasker but a prudent and reasonable candidate how have all the basic understanding about their field. Therefore, I should discard all the irrelevant points from my VC and add only what is important and effective. Assessment 2 The role of universities or colleges plays very crucial role for the development of proficiency in subjects for the students. A university provides broad exposure to its students where students can think and talk freely about their understanding and view point. Most students who lack in communication skills by enrolling in universities they gradually improve their communication skills because university provides range of opportunities to students through which they can improve their personality (Soni Gomathi and Adhyaru 2020). There are many students and intellect faculties which guides students and infuse many new things which makes students vibrant and sound in terms of knowledge and skills. In universities students are given research programmes where they need to work in group by making discussion, it gives them a change to express their perspective and opinion on given subjects and all collectively apply their minds and knowledge to complete their assignment. Communication skills does not only beneficial for academics or for professional life, rather it benefit an individual for its lifetime. A goodcommunicationskillsaveapersonfrommanyconflictingsituations.Likegood communication skills, it is equally essential that one has the listening skill because it gives a
chance to an individual to learn many new things as it helps in making strong bonding with others, especially with seniors in an organisation. Listening ability can be acquired through listening to others actively and their choice of words and their experience and knowledge. In a business operations the managers and leaders often give chance to share their opinion and they do listen to their suggestions, this is a quality which required patience and great wisdom. Both these skills maintains a good order between workers and managers, employees and organisation, as it gives liberty to employees to remain open minded and about the organisational culture and they are permitted to give any feedback or suggestion regarding work culture. In an organisation flow of information is possible through communication and listening, the management issues any order or has to make an announcement to workers, the by way of words convey the information to their employees and employees listens to them to understand their intention (Kubilinskiene Judickaite-Zukovske and Liogiene 2021). The other skill, which students develop at their academics phase is time management , it is also one of the most important skills which enables students to use their time at different task like sports, studies, and other activities. Time management skill is effective only when there is consistency and commitment towards task (Pommerening 2021). Most students are too much committed as they do not make any compromise with their time. The tend to finish their task at determined time. In the same way, in business organisation time management concept followed very seriously as it keeps company to execute its operations on time and if there is no proper use of time it may result in loss of cost and energy. So, time is the essence and it mus be utilized with resolute firmness with the view to complete task on time. Organisations are very practical in terms of time management and they set deadlines for the tasks within which the task must be done. Nevertheless, time management enhances productivity and credibility of workers as they are not allowed to wast time during the course of business. The employees are well aware about their tasks and in what time they need to finish such given task. Employees too set their standard of work and complete their work within time. Time management controls work force and employees remain motivated towards their set targets give their best to attain goals of an organisation. Colleges and universities assigns projects and research programmes to students based on their subjects in which students have apply their minds on critical research and consolidate relevant extract from research. They use methodology and resources through which information
can be gathered, sources like, internet, books or journal. It creates curiosity in the minds of students and they deeply involved in such assignment (Visser 2018.). The other skills which universities help students to develop is project management skills where they are need to manage their tasks from start to finish. The students needs to make sure that their task completes on time together with timeline as they have planned. This skills helps in developing an efficiency to meet deadline on time. In the same way for an organisation this skills are most important as business needs to complete their task on timeand they look for a candidate who has such skills. Relationship building is another important skill which can be learned in universities and colleges, because it enables a business organisation to maintain good relationship between businesses and its clients. This skill required god communication skills and and convincing power. Through this skill lots of problems and disputes can be resolved and helps in arriving at amicable solutions between parties. Management is the self arrangement of things and works, in universities students needs to manage their time, studies and their life style in an order that they do not miss the important things. It is like a task for them to manage their routine life without compromising their studies and other productive works. In business organisation management plays crucial role in running entire administration (Kikkeri,andNagalli2020). Management skills makes sure that all the important task are being done as per directions and completed effectively. Mostly, the skills of leadership are developed in colleges and universities because there are many students who comes from distinct backgrounds. Some students have the natural ability of leadership and through college and university they groom their leadership skills by creating a union or a group for the good cause. This leadership skills are most important in an organisation to regulate conduct of employees or workers. A person having good leadership skills has the ability to control the crowed and manage them accordingly. The main role of a leader is to supervise and manage team members. A leader always lead on the task or a given project and together with team accomplice the goals. Leadership skill is a combination of many other additional skills like, communication, relationship and probing solving. Thus, there are many transferable skills which an employer seeks in a candidate who applies for job in their organisation. The source of these skills is universities or colleges where students spend their most precious time of their academics life, where they can enhance their ability and credibility and develop their entire personality mentally and physically (McCleary-Gaddy and et.al
