governance, human rights, environmental effects, economic development, working conditions

challenging task for the organisations to be at the forefront to meet all the aspects of CSR.

been impact by the adoption of CSR as they expect the organisations to be more proactive for
being socially responsible and also expect that organisations should enforce the same standards

Equality does not only mean that everyone is same for example if the employee have the
different needs, he or she might need different support such as workplace adjustments. It is
important for the organisations to prevent discrimination which can be done by creating the
diversity strategy which will guide the behaviour of the workplace. The companies of UK are
legally required to adhere certain practices within the organisations which should ensure that
workplace discriminations are eliminated and equality in the workplace are met by the
organisations. Within the workplace all workers should be treated equally and should be given

equal importance and also the same set of opportunities without any kind of discriminations.

organisation to operate smoothly and can also help in increasing the employees efforts which
will in return will improve employee productivity and employee satisfaction. It is important for
companies to enforce equality in the workplace which can be useful for the organisation in

voluntary steps in order to build equal and positive workplace which can result in minimising
employee grievance and conflicts within the organisation. It can also be noted that civil rights
movement play an important role in reshaping the equality within the workplace and has to abide
with the laws of Employment Equality Acts 1998 to 2015. For example Apple launched the
