This research paper investigates the impact of subcontracting on the performance management of construction companies. The paper reviews four scholarly articles to gain insight into the factors involving subcontractors in the project. The findings reveal that improper use of subcontractors can lead to project casualties, and limited subcontractors can increase communication and coordination effectiveness. The paper also discusses the crucial factors for the survival of subcontractors and the development of a system to forecast their performance. Finally, the paper examines the role of contractual flexibility in project success and the impact of conflicts. The research aims to bridge the literature gap and offer recommendations for successful project completion.
