DRUG TARGETING
• Drug targeting also is known as smart drug delivery is a
technique of administering medicine to a patient in a way
that intensifies the absorption of the medication in the
targeted section of the body.
• Drug targeting can be defined as the capability of a drug
molecule to concentrate on a specific tissue or organ in a
manner the amount of drug at the affected area is high
compared to other parts of the body to prevent any toxic side
effects.
