Substance misuse is the topic which is related to formally designed activities as the over use or
misuse the any kind of approaches and substance and make any kind of person's physical mental,
social and mental health. All of these are related to basically measured and make effective
approaches for get success within society. Substance can be relate to anything which can make
an impact on perception, Mood, Thinking ability and change in behaviour. There are different
kind of sources and applicability which are used by people in order to remove their anxiety,
stress and demotivated level (Armitage and Nellums, 2020). This presentation will include the
basic knowledge and analysis of the substitute misuse, which are basically related to physical,
mental and sociological heath. With the help of drug, including heroine, cocaine, Nicotine,
Barbiturates and alcohol. Many forms of the substitute misuse give a temporary feeling of well-
being and make control with the major damage in health.

What is a substance or substitute?
Substance is majorly define and analysis as per the basic psychoactive compound with having
the potential to affect individual which are related to cause health and social problems that must
be included as addition and major changes within society (Boulton and O'Connell, 2017). These
substance can be legal, illegal or a controllable factor which give licensed for the medical
purpose such as hydrocodone. These are mainly classified within seven major factors on the
ground of pharmacological and behavioural effect.
 Nicotine: This will include, cigarettes, chewing tobacco and snuff
 Alcohol: This include beer, wine or any other distilled liquors
 Cannabinoids: Hash oil, edible cannabinoids and many other factor will include in this
sectors.
 Opioids: This will be included as heroine, Vicodin and Lortab
 Depressants: Valium, Librium and seconal are the main substitute which are used within
this factor.
 Stimulants: Cocaine, methylphenidate (e.g., Ritalin) and atomoxetine which are included
