INTRODUCTION
Supply chain management is the organizational approach in which the produce is being
evaluated from being an raw material to the final developed product. ASDA is the chosen
business brand for the analysis in this report. The company tend to provide retail options of
various products to the customers, through which it tend to make sure that it is able to achieve
high level of work productivity. Evaluation on the various type of supply chain management
approach by ASDA is being done in this report and also evaluation on the critical issues which
are being faced by the organization is also being done within the report.
MAIN BODY

ASDA tend to implement several approaches through which it tend to make sure that it is
able to efficiently evaluate various organizational departments, which are affecting the overall
work productivity of the organization. Following different organizational areas of ASDA which
are being integrated within the strategic management process.
Customer service- ASDA tend to provide its services to the customers through the means of
traditional in-store sales and also with that company uses, technological advancements for
providing its services to the customers. The institute is having different customer touch points
with which the customers are being empowered to establish a direct contact with the organization
(Singh, Shukla and Mishra, 2018). Through which it tend to ensure that it is able to provide a
uniform high quality of services to the customers, by which their loyalty towards the
organization can be increased.
Transportation- ASDA tends to provide its services to the customers at different geographic
locations and due to which organization uses different alternatives to maintain the availability of
services to the customers. This can be seen in the organizational step in which ASDA improvise
its transportation as per the natural conditions within UK. For example, in summers ASDA
maintain sales to stores with continuous flow of goods from initial start points (Shin and Park,
2021). Whereas in winters organization switch its approach to warehousing, through this
approach ASDA ensures that 7 days continues supply is being maintained by which customer
requirements can be fulfilled. With that in the present time of COVID-19 ASDA provide its
services, through services like home delivery by which it ensures that it is able to maintain an
efficient organizational sales.
