strategy such as publicly tracking to reduce the emission of GHG and usage of energy and
supporting a transition of low carbon energy resulting from the business. The language of the
statement sounds good but if it the company truly regards climatic change as global issue and
is interested in low carbon energy transition, then it should have not proposed the expansion
of tar sand oil pipeline that has doubled their capacity. The fact that the company is taking the
efforts to reduce the emission of green house gas cannot be denied but at the same time, it has
employed a model that is not sustainable because it is still engaged in the expansion of
capacity of tar sand oil (Healingmnstories.wordpress.com 2019).
