INTRODUCTION
Supply chain management is procedure which incudes various processes and techniques
through which materials can be transferred from supplier to manufacturer. It comprise of
warehousing, transportation, logistics and storage of goods in company. Through this firm can
run efficiently and effectively (Brandenburg and Rebs, 2015). They can also give competition to
other firms. This also helps company to maintain good image in front of customers and in
market. Report describes about Morgan Car Company which was founded in the year 1910 and
dealing in sports care manufacturing so that better and determine outcome could be drawn.
Assignment explains about the self reflection in which there are several issue such as
globalisation, e-commerce, outsourcing, supply chain relationship and several suggestions to
improve supply chain management is described.
Supply chain improvement
Supply chain is a process through which business used to sale out their products and
services in better and effective manner (Brindley, 2017). It is a process under which management
used to transfer their products from suppliers to manufacturer which further assist them in
defining the things better. If a business used to found any kind of problem in their supply chain
management the it need to improve in better and effective manner which facilitate in defining
and deriving better and positive outcome. Morgan Car company is facing some problems from
path few years in their supply chain which need to improve in effective and efficient manner.
Following are the steps which need to understand and adopted by managers of a company for
improving their supply chain (The Top 10 Supply Chain Improvement Strategies, 2018): Educate: The first and essential step of this process is related with education where an
individual need to link up whole working properly and in better manner as well (Cooper,
2017). This link among them facilitate better supply chain so that define outcome could
be drawn. Benchmark: The next step is to craft a benchmark where business need to decide an
appropriate benchmark towards their performance. This will assist them in maintain
competitive performance at market world so that definite outcome could be drawn. Priorities: Business have to determine their priorities so that they could work in better
manner. Here they could understand benchmark of a company and properly assess each

and every division properly so that they could maintain keen competitive position at
wider area. Weakest link: On this level, all such division required to understand which not
performing well and appropriate (Cosimato and Troisi, 2015). Such department or link
need to improve properly so that supply chain could be work in effective manner. Communicate: A major thing which used to facilitate effective and appropriate working
is related with communication. Management need to facilitate better communication
among each and every division so that there would be no surprise which facilitate and
define better working options. Partnership: Another phase of such aspect is partnership where each and every
individual have to facilitate better relationship among each other (Gattorna, 2017). A
single deficiency will used to restrict negative and inappropriate working which further
resist in better delivery of products and services. Leadership for core competencies: There is a need of leader of effective and beneficial
skills which facilitate in gaining competitive advantage just because every work used to
get done in better and supportive manner. Thus, chances of gaining core competency
would become possible by improving supply chain.
 Continuous improvement: The last phase is continuous improvement where each and
every deviation have to improve with define and provided course of time. This enable in
perform better and supportive manner by management of a company so that better results
could be drawn.
These are the several aspects which need to included by management of Morgan Car
company at the time of their supply chain management. Such consideration would used to get
improved and define in better manner so that they could facilitate effective and better delivery of
products and services. Although, manufacturing also used to get modify in their working so that
definite outcome could be drawn. All these factors will contribute in supply chain improvement
of Morgan car company which used to face by them from previous few years. This resist and
restrict them in gaining and generating more and more profit for future growth aspects. Hence,
management could go with such options effective so that they could improvise their supply chain
and products used to get deliver on right time to right individual.

Self Reflection
I used to get learn so many things from this project which completely associated with
supply chain management and improvement. Such consideration need to understand by me in
better and effective manner so that absolute outcome could be drawn. This will bring positive
attribute towards me and in my working practices. It not only expand my thinking criteria where
I used to think beyond the aspects but also enable me to draw valid consideration for my growth
oriented practices.
Through this supply chain management project, I better understand its importance in my
working and my operations. Like as a manger I need to determine the importance of supply chain
management which facilitate me to gain and determine better and effective outcome. There are
so much aspects on which I need to work in better manner and facilitate to improve the supply
chain management (Hugos, 2018). A first thing which I used to learn from this project is related
and associated with education and awareness. I have to educate each and every individual whom
have a link to working so that they could done their working in better and efficient manner. This
will enable me to deal with various consideration in better and efficient manner so that chances
of deriving better and efficient results could be estimated.
Although, I also understand how to prepare a benchmark for my performance and other
associated aspects. Benchmark is helpful for me to settle down such level of performance which
I need to achieve in near future course. This will enable and made me to gain competitive
essence as compared with others so that definite outcome could be drawn. Thus, I need to
understand such consideration properly which facilitate me to gain better and supportive
outcome for the same.
Supply chain improvement project will used to define me to clarify and craft my
prioritise better. Although, without determine my priority, I used not to become able to achieve
such milestone for longer period of course (Laari and et. al., 2016). Thus, such aspects have to
consider by me in better and efficient manner so that define outcome could be drawn in realising
state.
Although, it will also used to build some leadership skills into me so that I used to
become able to lead the team and things in better and efficient manner. A leader is one whom
used to guide the entire unit better and signify effective and efficient outcome in frame as well.

This will result in define the better outcome which further assist me in my future growth
perspective so that a better delivery of working and operations could be done.
All such aspects of supply chain improvement reflected towards me and my working.
Like supply chain improvement I also have to improvise my working (Lin and Tseng, 2016 ).
Like such factors will contribute towards me and my working for gaining and deriving better
associated outcome. Thus, my personal experience would enhance to an extent better which
further assist me in gaining and defining the estimated outcome.
CONCLUSION
Supplier chain management is crucial to every company. This needs to be managed
properly so that it can increases the process and can deliver goods to consumers in time. Various
issues faced in company such as increasing of world prices,import expensive etc. Various
suggestions are there so that suppliers can can be improved such as improving communication
level,monitoring supplier performance etc. There are various steps used to get implement in
supply chain improvement concept which need to follow by managers of a company. This will
result in define and determine better and supportive outcome in nature and frame. Although,
reflection enable me to improve my self to a level of extent for gaining and estimating better
supportive outcome.
