Firm which has been chosen in presentcontext i.e. Virgin Trains owned by Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Group which is formallynamed as West Coast Trains Limited and it was found in year of 1997 and are having around3,400 employees that are performing tasks in all over West Coast Main line. In order to havedeep knowledge related to supply chain management. In different sections of this report, variouscomponents are going to be enclosed like theoretical backgrounds of specific supply chainstrategy, critical evaluation of SWOT analysis of Virgin Trains and lastly, advantages anddisadvantages of company's strategy have also been developed.MAIN BODYSection for theoretical backgrounds of specific supply chain strategyIn present context, it is being analysed that Virgin Trains is consists with a great numberof consumers in all over Europe and deals among London, North East England, Wales, Scotlandand West Midlands. Organisation is having a great supply management system and strategy sothat they may supply products and services enclosed with catering, marketing, facilitiesmanagement, technology and train fleet. Virgin Trains’ procurement and operations teamsprimarily handle’s and manages their relationships with these suppliers. Aside from this, as ofnow, Virgin Trains have chosen to reorganise its national components business under anappropriate corporate division so that to improve adaptability and to plan for development intoday’s business market so that modern slavery related actions that has been faced by companyin the past could be reduced. Then again, it is being discovered that Virgin Trains tries to treatstheir individuals with dignity along with respect.
