Supporting independence and well being is one of the major concern for a health care
professionals as well being of people are theprimary motive. The present report includes
discussions about the support whichis given by the healthcare professionals in order to enable the
independence for defined client environment or needs. Apart from this, a discussion about
various factors which have the capability to influence the well being of patients are also included
in this report.

For every health care professionals it becomes essential to provide support and guidance to their
patients in order to enable independence as per the situation and requirements of clients. It has
been said that a medical staff or healthcare professional have the power to influence the mind of
patient with the help of which they can easily cope up with the situation faced by them in an
effective and appropriate way. Below mentioned are some cases which requires specific
precautions and guidance going to be discussed as follows:
1. An elderly lady is living at home, but is partially sighted.
The first case is about a lady who lives in her home but the medical issue faced by her is that she
