1. BHP consultancy and cooperation with our internal and external internal and
external stakeholders, our new sustainability performance and long-term objectives
were approved by the Senthable Development Commission in June 2017 and will be
applicable from 2018 to 2022.
2. This region is rich in biodiversity and is one of the last temperate rainforests in the
world - Baldivia Chile coastline conservation promotion.
3. 5 million dollars is provided for the Peruvian Alto Mayo REDD + project, which aims
to contribute to alternative life span opportunities and to generate 800,000 tonnes of
carbon credits.
4. Working with the Tasmanian Land Administration Bureau in Tasmania, Australia, to
protect and sustain 11,000 hectares of land in five rivers protection projects
