This report focuses on the development of sustainability in the construction industry through learning activities and personal development plans. It includes a reflection on the learning and development process using Gibbs model of reflection. INTRODUCTION
The construction industry is considered as one of the major industries all over the world
which deals in development of infrastructure. It is one of the major roles of management in
construction industry to develop certain possibilities related to sustainability. In the recent times,
all major companies related to construction industry focus on development of sustainability in
order to achieve effective results. There are certain issues and problems which are faced by
construction industry when it implements its sustainable practices. With the help and support of
learning activities, it is important role of managers of construction industry to focus on
increasing chances of development of planning and frameworks (Angstmann, and et.al., 2022).
The development of knowledge and information related to sustainability is also very much
important for a construction based business. In this project there is a brief focus on development
of learning through module. This report is based on developing innovation and other approaches
which are required by a construction firm for sustainability. In this project there is a major
discussion of my learning and evaluation of them using Gibbs model of reflection. This project
will also include development of a personal development plan in order to increase key skills and
competencies.

A reflection on the learning and development process
Gibbs model of reflection
The Gibbs model of reflection is a key approach developed by Graham Gibbs in order to
facilitate reflection. The model was formulated and developed in the year 1988 to increase
chances of growth and learning. The application of this model of reflection supports an
individual to learn different dimensions related to a topic in a precise manner. The Gibbs model
of reflections consists of major elements like description, feelings, evaluation and conclusion.
The Gibbs model of reflection is also applied in every process of reflection to achieve desired
results (Bernauer, and et.al., 2022). This model of reflection is also helpful in increasing chances
of knowledge development in a short period of time. The below mentioned description of Gibbs
model of learning in context of my learnings are mentioned below -
 Description - I got a golden opportunity to work for a construction site as a manager
which helped in learning new things. As a manager I was given responsibility to manage,

as it was tough for me to maintain several terms of function on the construction site while
due to this I never had this experience before. I was concerned and also stressed at the
time due to which I was stressed regarding the project in term of the role that I have
allotted regarding it to be completed on frequent time. But at a time of involving in
regular construction project that maintained several term of the abilities. This project
supported me to exercise my organizational skills. I also learned regarding several
creative production processes that might be involved on construction sites. It will wider
my level of understanding of how the construction site leaders will supervise function by
realizing the perspective of sustainability (Ezezika, and Johnston, 2022). By this I got
positive outcome, I have also learned the manner to utilize such courses of devices in the
fields. Before managing the target of the task, my group conducted suitable time of
research and growth to identify and effective resource that might be maintained in the
manufacturing fields of our group are dealing with the deficiencies of raw supplies at the
time of maintaining construction procedure and another top section regarding external
situation in the time of involving in several construction sections.
 Feelings - Presented experience through effective term of competitive situation for me as
the manager. I have a lot several terms of roles and as well as duties to maintain the
construction site functions. When I have the manner of manager I was primarily
effectively concern regarding my group members. My group was effectively supportive
and maintaining all other terms of functions to make sure that the task war executed
before deadline. I was effectively confident regarding my task and once it will get
completed on effective deadline by confidence level get maximize quickly. Technology
have effectively help me at the time in maintaining the overall work of production and
their other sections of managing sustain ability (Getchell, and Pachamanova, 2022).
Managerial stress will get degrees and it have positive outcome of getting new terms of
technology and efficient Goodwill of the construction centre regarding the sustainable
exercises. I have learnt server section regarding new manufacturing process that have
positive result of maintaining the overall task. The respective individual who are working
in the site will gain and efficient learning section regarding to the new sustainable tools.
As with it will completed new term of experience organisation position refers to it.
Leading the fundamental events on the sites by having higher term of a competition for

me it will taught me how to maintain the level of under pressure and now I feel
effectively confident in a same condition that will happen to me.
 Evaluation - The task activity are effectively nice and everybody gave it they are best to
complete the project before deadline. On the other hand, the production of all the
functions, my group are dealing with deficiency of the raw material that is the
fundamental issue of getting delayed. As it was effectively tough condition for me and
my group member to operate with the problem and execute the sustainable manufacturing
projects. At the event, my group members are maintaining several complexities on the
construction project that had caused a several technical section that get delayed in their
tasks (Hill, and et.al., 2022). Group member are managing highly complex issues and
they are also supportive and willing to complete the task before deadline. By this they
had work at day shift and as well as on night shift to execute the construction section on
time. Technology also plays effective role at the time of maintaining the project and
completed it with suitable deadlines. The group member are also maintaining their
accounting divisions that got filled to maintain a relevant details of inventories and as
well as raw material that might have negative result of getting deficiency of raw material.
With the support of innovation and as well as technology accounting division was
capable to maintain suitable raw material details. By maintaining sustainability at the
construction site the management were also maintaining the dealings as effectively
 Analysis - By the support of technical enhancement, several actions on the construction
side are put forward as effectively. I have maintained amount of new technologies and as
well as machineries that have supported the staff security in their tasks. This maintain the
level of labour that I need and allow the process that I need to be executed on low time. I
effectively valuated the working situation at the time of starting the function that
supported me evaluating the task aspects (Hurrell, Belobrovy, and West, 2022). It will
based on my feedback, I have taken several steps to maintain the negative section that
might have an impact on functions. I am also managing several term of technical devices
to maintain and identify the issues and by adapting suitable term of strategies we try to
overcome the barrier. The utilization of new oriented idea in functions will lead to
maximize the productivity and as well as cost reduction will be done in a course effective
manner.

 Conclusion - From the above analysis framework it has been presented that the
coordinating and group work of all the individuals that ask will get completed as
effectively by managing desirable term of sustainability. At the time of this task, I have
learned a lot of section that involves the manner how to utilise that technology to make
creative enhancement in functions and by maintaining sustainable values for working in
the construction site. Workers are also getting d models but I used to motivate them by
offerings terms of benefit regarding task (Mukuria, 2022). I always supervise my staff
faculty’s functions which are performing by them accurately and if it will not completed
accurately I try to maintain that dealings by overcoming there issues and appreciating
their efforts by which they can achieve the targets as effectively and efficiently.
 Action plan - In the future I will recognise to maintain several term of actions and
executable strategic courses of decisions that will support in flexible functions. All the
production task issues will get solved by utilising technical section that need lower term
of labour and time criteria. The ability should get enhanced by training in as well as
grown in respect to enhance the performance that enable the sustainable manual of
working in the business. I continuously valuate the requirement for maintain the training
by concentrating on workers’ productivity. I also analyse the frequent term of details in
the business that are suitable for the workers to achieve their goals. I aid workers by
which they can share their issues with me and it will enable to get better understanding
between us as well.

approach which helps in conservation of environment. This project concludes the significance of
planning and strategic frameworks which are important for overall growth of a sustainable
business firm. This project also concludes that in order to bring sustainability in a construction
management business, it is most important role of management to implement focused practices
and methodology. The project concludes that Gibbs model of reflection and its implementation is
the most appropriate approach which helps in learning and development. This analysis also
concludes that development of skills and personal development plan are two major approaches
which could be considered by an individual for knowledge and competencies development.
