INTRODUCTION
Sustainability can be referred to as the fulfilling the needs of the present generation
without compromising the needs of the future generation. It mainly focus on that organizations
should carries out the operational activities at the workplace without harming the nature and the
environment. Environment and the sustainability are interconnected with each other as
sustainability in the working will only help to conserve the environment for the future generation
(Adekomaya and Majozi, 2019). This topic has been chosen for this essay because it consists of
various elements and components that facilitates the managers of the company to save the quality
of the nature. Concept of the sustainability also helps the managers of the organizations to use
natural sources of energy such as solar panels. These helps in reducing the carbon emission from
the environment and also eliminates the pollution from the air. I have chosen this theme for the
essay as it increases the knowledge of the individual regarding the techniques that can be
implemented in order to save the natural resources for the future generation. I consider it as one
of the important concept because through this only quality of the nature can be maintained. It
also helps to increase the awareness about the negative impacts that are being caused by the
organization and the industries to the environment. In this essay there will be the explanation of
the topic of the environment and the sustainability in a effective manner (Rakshit, Sarkar and
Abhilash, eds., 2018). Along with that there will be the evaluation of the theory of the
Globalization in relation to the sustainability. After that there will be the analysis of the
methodology of the observations. At the end of the essay there will be the conclusion for the

in the international market by the use of the resources effectively which does not effects the
quality of the environment. They should eliminate all the practices that can creates bad impact on
the environment of the international boundaries.
According to Dalby,2020, it is very important for he organizations to implement effective
techniques of production in the international market through which they can save the
environment and promote the sustainability. As globalization leads to the increases of the exports
from one country to the another and which can increases the carbon emission in the air. So
theory of Globalization mainly focus on that while taking the activities of the business into the
international market, organization should take care with the use of the means of transportation.
Globalization can lead to the global warming when there will be the imports and exports of the
goods on the large scale (Akadiri and Adebayo, 2021). It is very important for the managers of
the company to implement healthy techniques of production so that resources can be saved for
the future generation. Globalization mainly leads to the pollution in the environment when
activities are increased in relation to the imports and exports. So organization should follow the
concept of the sustainability in regards to expand the activities in the international market.

and all those ways that can impact the environment in a negative way. Sustainability helps in

maintain goods image in the marketplace. For example, in today's time danger of the viral
diseases has been increased and COVID-19 has impacted the health of the people to a great
extent. It can be observed that It becomes very important for the organization to carry out the
operations in regards to the pandemic and they should take proper care of the sanitisation and the
social distancing (Grabs, 2020). These policies at the workplace can helps the organization to
save the local people form the virus as it has affected the lives of many people. For example,
managers of the Unilever company effectively carry out the sanitisation process through which
they reduce the danger of widespread of the virus at the workplace.
It can also be observed that sustainability helps the organization to change the ways of
packaging of the products from the plastic wrap to the paper. Implementation of this strategy at
the workplace can help the organization to save the environment from the non-degradable
material. It helps in decomposing of the all the waste in the soil which can helps in making the
natural resources in the future. For example, Tesco is one of the well established company that is
present in the boundary of the UK (Michaelides, 2018). They have eliminated the use of the
plastics in order to pack their grocery products which they offers to the customers in the market.
It can be observed that following the concept of the sustainability can give the opportunities to
the organization to make valuable brand image in the eyes of the customers. It can be seen that it
helps the organization to stand out from the competition as people who are more environment
conscious can be attracted to those brands which are more focused in using the concept of the
sustainability.
