Review the Sydney Opera House vision, mission, goals and environmental sustainability policy.
The Sydney opera house (SOH) is an extraordinary building present in Australia and it a
great example of architecture build in late modern era of arts and design. It is considered as one
the most creative buildings of 20th century (Karmaker, and et.al 2021) . The finalising of building
was done in 22nd October 1973. the designing of the opera house was done by Jorn Utzon. The
building is considered one of the best multi venue art performance centre which is situated in
Australia.
Vision:
The vision of the Sydney opera house is to continue legacy made by Jorn Utzon through
continuously creating and representing the most known and praised with engaging and
imaginative performing arts experience in Australia and from all around the world (Su, and et.al
2022). The venues that are present in the concert hall are Joan Sutherland Theatre, Utzon
room, recording studio, Playhouse, outdoor , forecourt and much more. In adding more the
building have bars, cafeteria, studio, restaurants and bars. The opera house was made considering
both present and future generation, the organisation react to environmental issues.
Mission:
The Sydney opera house's mission is to inspire and make good strength in the community
of everything the opera stands for like arts, culture, performance, music etc (Ramos, and et.al
2020). its mission was build to help design and mould a better and more enlightened community
with arts and making home to many of the world's greatest artists and performances.
Goals:
The Sydney opera house have many goals which is global and mainly address the
world's most hard challenges by 2030, including challenges like inequality, poverty, climate,
education and justice (Bauer, and et.al 2018). The goal is to see be best for present as well as for
future generation.
Environmental sustainability policy
The opera house have many environmental sustainability plans which commits to the
world heritage listed as the building to achieve an 80 percent recycling rate for construction
works . By the design of environmental sustainability plan, the opera house show huge
commitment to the betterment of environment in the future. It makes use of resources very

responsibly and efficiently. They aim to become leaders for environmental and social
sustainability (Sherman, and et.al 2020).

 In the meeting the staff need of training programmes for environmental
development planning is discussed with regular implementation of
resources in giving them developing phase.
 In this meeting the topic is also covered of sustainable plans that will be
helpful for the organisation to create an impact in environmental
sustainability.
 Planning and developing safety is also discussed in this meeting as it will be
helpful regarding the assurance of better work environment and giving
quality performance in the field of arts.
 Managing assets is required to be covered as funds and revenue are
essential to manage a quality event in the opera house, the maintenance of
the structure and representing great values for the world requires
investment and managing of those is important for the opera organization.
 As the objective of establishing the opera house is to achieve Heritage
listing in representing all over world. The meeting covered the part of
represent ion of visor in Sydney opera house organization.
 Environment waste management is important part which will be discussed
in the reference of environment sustainability and opera house changes to
adapt with environment protection.
 Sustainable use of resources and power generation with using it in structure
