BACKGROUND
Since the rise in their popularity, SMEs have consistently grown and
generated interest from a wide range of stakeholders including government,
researchers, customers and non-governmental organizations etc. basically
SMEs companies are based on small scale which is also known as micro
enterprise or it is a business with less than five employees and includes self-
employed individuals. Present research will be based on the sustainability of
small medium scale enterprise in Australia. In the context of sustainability,
society has been now growing rapidly and wants to become more
sustainable and socially responsible. So, the concept of sustainability needs
little attention to get success in the competitive context. In Australia
sustainable management of business is considered to be the most necessary
term for the businesses. Basically, the practices of sustainability include
value, transparency, internal audience, supplier relationship, customer
relationship, employee’s growth and the contribution of business to the
environment development.
RATIONALE
The main reason to conduct the project is to research and examine the
sustainability of small medium enterprise in Australia. However, the present
research or literature also support the data to determine small companies
which wants to grow but often don’t. Apart from that, Research will also
outline the challenges and difficulties SME faced in Australia. Overall, study
aim is to measure the relationship between social, operational and practices
which main aim is to focusing on the development of small medium sized
enterprise. SME is the backbone of the economy that contributes the best
efforts to making environment clean and energetic. However, in present era,
all the businesses mainly focus on the environment development rather than
profit making. This is the reason to make the business more developed and
effective for future growth.

Australia. Case study based on Atlassian.

business practices sustainable. Therefore, it is beneficial for SMEs to make
all stakeholders happy and satisfied by implying the different sustainability
approaches. In order to make the integrate environment practices on
business has become one of the most competitive among the industry.
Exploring the relationship with stakeholders can more helpful and effective
for making the business more sustainable and productive. Sustainability is
necessary and beneficial to be considered in order to make the business
more popular and profitable in the future.
